Well I've posted plenty of remix's of late but believe it or not this is the first original tune I've posted here since about April or May.
Which happened to Be 'Cyan Dawn'

So here to my latest track. Not as energetic and a pumpin' as Cyan Dawn but just as emotional. Some sexy pads and screaming leads phat bass ect ect, you all know the score
Also expect remix's from Emota and Jon O'Callaghan soon

Let me know What you all think.

PS
In case you were wondering what the title means, it's actually a very rare natural weather event. The weather conditions need to be: Freshly dropped snow and the temprature needs to be -30 (thats why its so rare ) and it only happens at sunrise.
The extreme cold does something to the way the light travels through the snow crystal creating a rainbow like effect on the ground surface (kinda like the way light travels through rain to create rainbows)
Making the snow appear to be miniture jewels I.E. Diamond Dust

Aint I just full of usless information

sounds really nice... but there is something with the piano that sounds wrong... sounds like one of the notes is out of place
but i just think it's the delay or something.

the string sounds abit to noisy i think

nice melodie

think the percussions is a little bit to loud

otherwise it sounds really nice

Good work again mate, another quality trancer, like the piano bits, stunnin synths, quality breakdown as standard, lovely strings

nice mate

This is wicked dude, I really like it. My only suggestion would be to make the piano a little louder, but that's just a personal preference.

I'll drop this at my clubnight on Friday and see how it comes across on the big system -- with your permission of course.

cant download now but i know this is gonna be sweet, hopefully ill get it tomorrow.

my remix is done and shall be uploaded tomorrow, its a much harder mix than brens, very progressive techtrance heavy percussion and energetic flow.

good work Bren nice to see it made the mix

p.s-did u ring neal yet?

hmm, i'm not feeling this one..

it starts off very cool with some very good percussion, but then the strings come in and it goes downhill from there.. the melodies are good, but all the elements do not sound that well together.. drums and bassline are too loud, whereas the strings and the main melody are too much on the background.. the piano does not fit in that well either..

the ideas are good, but in my opinion it needs to be remastered properly..

ps: i'd like to have a midi though, the melody rocks!

Posted by Icone on Sep-16-2003 12:56:

I agree with tor on most points here, it is a solid production with great melodies. Though, the bassline is very flat to me... I do love the string section mid-part, sounds very neat and atmospheric, with the pianos and all. Maybe some more stereo on the strings?

I'd love to make an Icone remix of it, if u want? Jus send me the midi (preferably [email protected])

Keep it up!
Wim

How come? What limits software to not being able to make good sounding basslines in an easy way? I mean, if you sample a hardware bass sample, then use it in a software sampler, wouldn't it be quite similar?
