need some recommendations...

...on some good hair gel.

seriously, like every gel that i've used, it's too watery and stuff, so it's hard to get my hair to look all spikey and mint the way i want it, cuz most of the time my hair slowly falls back down so I end up using like 1/4th of the tube. This really poses a problem at a club, cuz then none of the broads will look at me if my hair doesn't look as solid as it should, ya know?

is that new Loreal Studio Line any good? The best gel I've used was back home in Poland, called Wellaflex...dude,that shit is like superglue!! But i've never seen it here

Wellaflex is really good...

If you dont mind spending the money, Goldwell has some of the best waxes and gels that u can even get ur hands on....My best friend is a hairdresser and she swears by Goldwell

Another really good one is the Joico ICE spiker..
Bedhead is also another good one...they have different puttys and hair manipulators.
If your looking more retail, Salon Selectives has this gel in this little round green container....a lot of guys i know have used that stuff and really liked it...not too sticky, not too hard on the hair and smells REALLY FRICKIN GOOD!!

i use short cuts pommade...

dood this shit is so crazy...the style i have is flip out and man..my hair just flips all the time
its craazy

look for anything called cement/wax/manipulator, but they key is to have your hair a bit wet. not so it's dripping, but so it's damp, and gel it up, then style it.

once you've styled it, use Bedhead's Hardhead hairspray. it's like $10-12US down here, and I think at a couple places in downtown TO it was like $18CA, but it's well worth it. Spray it up, and about 2 min later it starts to freeze. If you put a whole lot on it takes a bit longer, but my hair is so thick, I've tried so many different kinds, even Beyond The Zone's cheaper version of Bedhead, and nothing compares.

Most Trade Secrets locations sell Bedhead products, and a lot of salon products

I still think one of you oughtta try using sex wax. Mind you I have no idea what it'll turn out as when used for your hair... (I just wanted an excuse to use the term 'sex wax'.)

Posted by Rocco on Sep-15-2003 23:41:

hey be nice.. i use gel to curl my hair. Mousse is for thin hair and i have really thick hair. I tried most of the products out there comercial and salon and nothing work as good as just a bit of gel after a shower to retain the moisture, which in return keeps my hair curly.

on a serious note: u can disrepect ginos but why would u direspect the other ppl who use hair gels? i'm very much offended cuz i don't see the joke behind it.
