A classic problem

Just because your lack of money is a problem...doesn't mean you are greedy....Sometimes it would just be nice to be able to pay the bills on time and not live paycheck to paycheck.

Currently we're undergoing a jobless recovery. But payrolls will pick up soon enough. Things will be moderately better in 6 months.

It is not money its greed,
people always whenting more money (most people)
people always whenting more power (most people in companys and goverments)
People whenting more then one sexual partners)
People wanting more of everthing (most people)
and so on

You can link all these with greed but not money

THe problem is you can link everything with money, even sex

sex = comdoms = money

And thats why we blame money, but its greed, people whent more money to buy more things, which is greedy.

Posted by Scottaculous on Sep-16-2003 15:33:

Don't blame money and greed. Both are huge motivators which has brought a lot more good than people may realize. Words like ambition, aspiration, and desire are euphemisms for greed. It's when people pursue money without integrity and ethics and other character boundaries, things goto hell.

I think the word to blame in butterfly's example would be despair. The feeling of hopelessness.

it drives every country, not just the U.S..

and lack of money usually is the reason root of evil....

ask yourself...if you had 65 billion dollars if you would have any of the problems you have right now...with money you can stay healthier, travel and see the world, relax, not work, buy the finer things, eat the finest foods, and virtually change every aspect of your life....

It is greed...but i would rather be greedy then homeless...go ask "Joe" the homeless man living in a cardboard box, having to piss himself to keep warm in the winter, eating scraps of food, having people look at him like he is a waste of life, feeling liek noone cares and having no future, abadonded by family and friends if "HE" thinks money doesnt make life better.....then try and feed him your rhetoric on how money isnt everything while he sleeps on the street and you sleep in your cozy queen size bed with your cable TV and cell phone...go tell him that crap....

Noway around it money brings a form of happiness...not permanent happiness (because nothing is permanent) but it surley makes life better and it sure makes love better....i may sound shallow...but i am honest...

Posted by StereoPrincess on Sep-16-2003 15:45:

Men that don't know how to handle money are the problem.

Posted by LiveTheDream on Sep-16-2003 15:48:

if you had $65billion, where do you think that money came from?? other people, just think who many people you would make homless if you sucked 65billion out of the US people.

That makes you greedy and evil, and you dont give a shit about other people apart from you

Thats not always true....Bill Gates has 65 billion dollars and i doubt he made anyone homeless....he may of screwed over Steve Jobbs but never ran another company into the ground, hence causing job loss, then maybe someone going homeless.....

Posted by LiveTheDream on Sep-16-2003 15:58:

ok tearn things around, how many people can you help to sort there lifes out from being homeless with 65billion.

I hate bill gates becoue he has all that money and he is still trying to get as much money out of us as posible. The thinks you could do with that money to help people.
