Please review 2 samples of my remixes :)
Ok i just started using REASON 2.5 properly today and i just tried to basically do anything to learn and these two samples are the results by todays struggle
Also i have made the bassline give a PVD feel, i think
Pulsar - My Religion (Mehran Rowshanzadeh Mix)
Rank 1 - Airwave (Mehran Rowshanzadeh Mix)
Please tell me if these are good enough to continue
and i have noticed that the tracks are lacking power, but i have no idea how to actually give it that in REASON atm..still learning
Cheers,
Mehran
links are down?
hmmm it works fine on my pc, try getting it with a Download Manager...or try again now cause i was fiddling with the files before and increasing their bitrate so that's probably the reason..

Thanx for the review jace and rob, I've tried adding more drums and stuff which improved the song alot but i'm trying to add more bass to give it a more uplifting touch...
but yeh thanx for your opinion, much appreciated...keep em coming
after hijacking ure thread, i actaully did download them...
thought of working in the ringtone industry?
haha, thats what came to mind.
drums are overpowering :/
hats are subdued.
dont give up though, gotta start somewhere.

i don't know much about track construction but imo the my religion one does sound pretty ring tonish. The actual main sample thing is very narrow. You need some things sweeping through the background as well. Turn the drums down a bit and I think they're a bit messy and rough too. Like Jace said, you need to get some more things happening in there.
I liked the airwave one more becuase there were a few more things going on in the sample. The less you have to rely on one specific part of the track the better it will be i think. The main sample thing though sounded a bit high and in a way almost too sharp, if that makes any sense.
Mind you I know I couldn't do any better so best of luck with it.
