Questions regarding song creation

I've always wondered how Songs are made.. Besides those programs that put the puzzle pieces together, how are the puzzle pieces made ex: Bass, effects, and tunes (maybe an organ?) and treble. Could anyone help clear this thing w/ me, how the puzzle pieces are made.

Thanks!!

Hmmm, good question...

*turns around in his (imaginary)leather swivel chair stroking a bald cat* Now, does anyone here know how? *puts pinky up to mouth*

Hardware, Reason, Buzz, Cubase(? I don't know much about it, same with Logic), etc. Almost all music producing software can produce stuff. Fruity and Acid are just sequencers.

Synthesizers, Drum Machines, Loops, etc. Mostly synth's.

u kno I was thinking that too, drums and organs; that's pretty crazy, but all u really need is a bassline, a beat, and a tune, ur set LOL. Other comments?

How about doing a search.

It's pretty simple how it's made actually. However, making quality tracks isnt so simple.

basically you use a computer program to put sounds together, you creat the different sounds (like the bass line or a kick drum) with different pieces of equipment or various programs on your computer based on what you preffer.

You really sould be doing a search on this tho.

That's one of the most ignorant comments I've ever read.

What's the point of this thread anyway?

that just shows that people only understand how hard to make and complex is the music that we listen to after trying to produce something..

Yeah thats very true.. you realise how gd Proper tunes are after banging away to one you made thinking " yeah this is great" then you play something that has been made by a top class DJ and you think" HOLY FUCK!!!"

Interesting.. you speak as if you have made songs; seems like a simple curiosity turned into a bashing. shrug, ignorance is the ultimate happiness for some ppl.

What is it that you're looking for anyway?
I have made quite a few tunes in my time and I can safely say it takes a bit more than "make a synth and insert a drumloop"...
