19'' Mixer Suggestion Please

Hey guys,
Can you suggest a good 19'' Mixer for :
1- ~$300 budget
2- ~$500-600 budget

Tascam X17 seems cool , any opinions on that? Also , do you think in general 19'' mixers are too compact ? Thanks

The Denon is also a good 19" mixer... the 19" ones are the same as the regular ones except the shape/build of them... its all about preference.

Thanks, have you ever used one of them ? I was initially looking into X400 , now I will consider it again

I have a Denon dx 4000 and absolutely love it. It does everything I could want it to do and more. Not a single complaint. I bought mine for around $325...if you want to spend a little more, go with the 800.

That's great, but I'm not sure if DN-X800 is worth paying $180-200 more than the X400 for me.(i got denon d-4000 player) I am considering the X400 seriously though...Thanks

I was talking to a friend who has the 800, and he loves it. But he admittedly doesn't need it. If he could do it over again, he said he would have just gone with the 400, and put the extra $ towards something else. I've played with both mixers, and they are essentially the same.

I have the Denon X800 mixer and use it in full digital mode - CDs and Denon TT. All i have to say is if you want the cleanest signal, go all digital like I did - eliminates a lot of noise in the cabling.

Being full digital seems like a good reason for the price difference between X400 & X800 apart from the x effects, but I wonder if the signal quality that noticeable in X800 ? I guess my budget would allow the X400..

I say you save about $200 more and you can get yourself the Pioneer DJM3000 (which I proudly own) It's just freakin' awesome. It has 3 more effects than the DJM600 plus all the features as well. The only major difference off course is the size and the sampler that the DJM600 has. The sound quality is awesome plus it's pre amped, so if you do mobile, you will see a big difference in loudness. The 3000 is LOUD!!!! If you shop around, I've seen that mixer for as low as $699. NEW!!!! but it usually goes for $799-$899. I got mine for $699 at Sam Ash. This was a promotion they had though.
