i've heard rumours that sony headphones don't last very long in terms of frailty. I think they break quickly, even with people's cautious hands.
Always buy headphones for the matrix styled interface on the back of your skull. Always. It makes copper sound like crap.
Sony headphones are generally of a poor build quality (break very easily), have poor sound & Sony have poor customer support (for repairs etc).
I've never heard of the other one, so I don't think they are a very well known brand, this could be good or bad.
You're best off going for Sennheiser's headphones, such as the HD25 which is the best headphone in the world, probably (aside from ones at about 1000
. They are used by countless djs, sports commentators, etc. If you cant afford those, just go for a lesser model from them.
Theres a huge thread on headphones here:

I own AKG k240, they're 10 years old still work great, I've never had any problems. Plus they have one wire design with cuts down on tangle. Obviously these are best for non-portable situations cause the are big. The sound is true which means they don't add artificial bass what u hear is what u get.

Taken From turntablelab.com:
We can easily state that this is the best pair of headphones we carry. The only thing we don't like about these is the steep price tag [$237.00]. Next time you watch a professional basketball or football game on tv, look at the headphones the commentators are wearing. 9 times out of 10, it will be this model (plus mic attachment). The HD-25 is especially designed to keep out external noise and produce a crisp, clear sound environment. With the crowd at it's maximum decibels, they only hear what's in the headphones. This feature translates perfectly for DJs. Sound in a club should never be a problem. And with its wide range, low range response, and crisp highs, they also function excellently as studio monitors. Improvements over the HD-25-SP include a wider frequency range (16-22000 Hz vs. 30-16000 Hz), a single output cord, and a more robust design with moving joints. Solid construction.
All I have to say is that this are the best headphones I have ever used. Expensive but worth every penny of it!

Yeah, the HD600's are sick,
so are AKG K 501's
but hey, PvD wears HD25's so what do I really know?
I just know that the HDJ-1000's are damn comfortable and can take the most power, which almost always equates to < distortion.

I love Sony. I have had a Sony ES Reciever (GX67ES) and Sony ES CD Changer (CDP-C77ES) since 1993 and the only maintenance I've ever had performed was cleaning the laser's lens in the CD Changer. I've blown 2 seperate pairs of speakers with that reciever (couldn't handle the power) so yeah you can say that I usually play music very LOUD.
I've heard from too many people that their headphones build quality is comparably cheaper than others, and that they just don't last very long.

AKG is a huge player in the headphone market. The K1000's will seriously destroy most other headphones (including the HD25). yes, sennheiser headphones are good but there are many other good brands around. and the best headphones in the world are made by sennhiser, but they are definately not the HD25's. they're the "Orpheus" phones (with dedicated amp). |

| Originally posted by DJ Chrono the AKG K501's are good headphones, but they are definately not suited for DJing/production at all.. they are very light on bass, and the shell lets audio in and out very easily. |

| Originally posted by joeh which is why i said aside from the stupidly expensive ones. Even the top djs dont go for those super expensive ones. The HD-25s are the best ones in the dj market, and are used for so many other purposes. |
I don't know anyone who has them so maybe I should give them a try. Paul van Duck wearing them is a good enough product endorsement for me!
Wow how many post guys .....Thanks you all!!!!
I knew i found help here ....
Now trying to answer too all ,i know that sony are easy to damage ,I had one too and now it doesn't work, but honestly for me everything of Sony i have it's had some damage ..Tv,camcorders,headphones etc etc.
Now the mdrv7506 seems cool .....but honestly are quite similar to my old mdrv6 and aren't that exellent in the sounds....but i've seen also paul van dyk on too videos Loveparade2002 and 2003 using the mdrv7506 and that's a good point for them
The Pioneer HDJ-1000 Seems's realy fat ,the design it's cool ,the techincal specification seems also good ....but as i'm writing here you are all For the Sennheiser HD25 ..(i don't like much the design but who cares
)
The only problem is that the sennheiser are a little bit out of my budget ....so maybe i'm gonna chose the akg ...
A thing i sure i have to look around more
Anyway thanks again too all you guys you helped me realy much
Cheers,Marco
