Get ready for another edition of the Space34 live broadcast on Party 93.1 and simulcast live on www.idealsound.ca, Tonight's edition is an event called Studio34, Expect the resident DJs to play some of the best classic house out there for the night and on the broadcast.

Oh well...now we know why Frankie Knuckles, Larry Levan, and Jessie Saunders
had to do something to disco to make it into House Music.

The station pulled the plug on the space34 broadcast, Most likely cause it was crap, So there playing regular music now, but not from space34.

The fact to the matter is, Party 93.1 is an all dance music station, And they never played any disco, This is why I think they pulled the plug cause its not the kind of music there represent.

I am not angry about it, and I understand why they would have done it market wise.....but they should have known the format of the party they were broadcasting live from

Ahhh...

Well, in hindsight, when I look at the picture at the top of the post I instantly think disco. They used the same font for the 34 as the old Studio 54 logo and a disco ball and then mentioned wear your favorite 70's costume for the invite.

But then again, I didn't know anything about it until I clicked the stream link (I was looking more at the clock and the time mentioned in the thread title than at the type of music)
