Markus Schulz and Elevation - Clear blue

Just searched and wondered why there wasnt a thread about it

just heard it in the olso nights set of markus schulz awesome set
he opened the set with clear blue
great track

Gr8 track, has been around for sometime now...I heard a friend say. Didn't hear it before. 7/10

i heard this tune in a GDJB set of markus's. its good. just like everything he's been doing. btw...i think the proper name for this is:

Markus Schulz Presents Elevation - Clear Blue

maybe that has something to do with why you can't find anything on it

indeed a great track, but a shame to give all the credit to schulz, it was actually Elevation who made it.. and markus helped out, with a few things and mastered the final version! its gonna be out on armada sometime in the future, elevation a guy to look after!

Exactly what Niklas Harding said.. this is a great progressive track and be on the lookout for new productions from elevation as well as elevation under the alias of bluephase (elevation+myself) .

nonono.. i did not help make clear blue... but simply stated you should keep your eye out for new work by me and elevation under the alias of "bluephase"

this song is awesome. clear blue is def one of my fave tracks from elevation.

I run Elevation's website and I've been friends with Mike (Elevation) for about a year now.
why didn't I notice this thread before! d'oh!!!!!

Mike did like 90% of the production for this track. Markus mainly did the mastering and a few tiny changes, and he "discovered" Elevation so he gets to capitalize on it... lol

It just got picked up my Armada Music for it's Benelux release, which should be in a few months. Look out for a Markus mix of it. Also, Markus & Mike will be doing lots of work together in the future, so keep an eye out. I just heard a new track Mike started and it's incredible!

and yes, Mike is only 16...child freakin prodigy like John O'Bir I tells ya!

the actual title and artist listing is Markus Schulz PRESENTS Elevation. If it wasn't for Markus (and he did ALOT more than just master the track) this track would still be on a 16 year old kid's hard drive. Markus made sure it got into the hands of all the right people and he got it signed to Armada. Let's give credit where credit is due. Markus has an ear for talent and the fact that this is turning into who did what on the track is petty. None of you heard the original 45 second clip that Elevation first sent to Markus. Markus worked with Elevation from that point to what the track is now. Let's just all enjoy the track, shall we?

I agree with what you say. My comment wasn't meant to put Markus down in any way. I simply think the title is missleading: it makes people think this is a Markus-produced track. IE, when you see Gabriel & Dresden pres. Motorcycle, it is because G&D are "presenting" a new project name. But it is still a gabriel and dresden track. So when you see Markus Schulz pres. Elevation, the uninformed are led to believe that Elevation is a new Markus Schulz production alias.
I think something like Elevation featuring Markus Schulz or vice-versa would be more appropriate. The reason I bring this up is because I kept getting all these messages from people saying things like "that new markus track is great!" and such. They seemed to totaly ignore the Elevation portion of it, because they thought Elevation was Markus. This just got on my nerves. I never meant to be insulting.
I think Markus is a wonderful producer and DJ, and I give him much respect for what he does. Yes, without his help, Mike probably would not have gotten this far. I just want to make sure Mike gets all the credit he is due

well.. i have the original clear blue project file sitting in front of me... markus didnt add any new sounds, or new synths or anything of the sort.. basically as far as i can see, what he did was rearranged it, and mastered it (please correct me if im wrong). and i do believe credit should be given, because after all... without markus, yes, mike (elevation) would still be some un-exposed producer... as well as many people, because one of the ways new producers do get exposure is from the global dj broadcast on party 93.1... elevation is extremely greatful and dosent have words to explain how greatful he is to markus for getting him into the position where he is now, with a possible record deal and such, and more tracks on the way. And im sure if he was here (unfortunatly he dorms 5 days of the week), he would say the same things that i am saying now. With that said, everyone enjoy this massive tune!

i thought markus was elevation
a bunch of artists are using presenting atm...and i think markus presenting elevation is the only one where it is 2 dif artists

Well said bro, I had thought it was a new project name for Markus as I'm sure many people did. I know you were not trying to take anything away from Markus, since it's impossible to do anyway because he's amazing , but thank you for clearing that up.

....Dude, if u made "Clear Blue" w/ only the equipment/software u have listed on your website, then u've just totally inspired me and can basically prove wrong all these producers in different forums claiming u need this program, etc. to make quality productions. I personally thought Markus was the sole producer behind 'Elevation, but I guess I was wrong. I cant wait to hear more productions in the future. keep up the great work!!!!!!!!
