I've been checking for the past two weeks, the early birds are on sale until they sell out...which will be sooooooooooooon. Hopefully they're not sold out by Tues...$30 is an awesome price, first time I saw PvD was for that much...

when did early bird go on sale?

Posted by Endlesswave on Sep-22-2003 06:24:

I dunno but I'm guess this weekend...because I checked on Wed of last week and there was nothing...

Have to buy this soon !

I hope early birds will actually be one sale ! I still have fresh memories of Tiesto in December when no early birds were ever sold(or they were all bought by scalpers)

Anyone know how long PVD's set is?

I'd expect 2 hrs. Which is part of the reason I'm not going - $35 at minimum (don't forget the taxes and fees on top of that $30 ticket!) is just too much.

There is only 2 DJs booked for the KH. PvD's set is going to be much longer then that

Don't count on that. when I saw him in MTL in April, the party was from 1AM till 10AM. PVD's set was 2 hours.

It's probably gonna be about 3 hours. I'd be VEEEEEEEEERY surprised if PVD played any longer.

No way, that is very strange ...

How long was PvD's set when he was here for the Guvernment 5 yr Anniversary ? Everytime I've seen PvD, he has spun for 3 hrs for each set.

Well, looking at the bright side that 2 hour set was the best Trance set I've heard in my life.. So yeah, I was pissed it was only 2 hours(having spent shit load of money on that party), but I was extremely pleased with the quality. So overall, I was totally satisfied.

Hopefully his set at Kool Haus won't be much worse.

BTW, is this a Gold Club sponsored event ?? If not, then I wonder why Gold Club sponsored events cost about the same ?

I'd imagine that PvD will play for about 3hrs max, with Oliver opening and closing the room.

Its all about Deep Dish though... WHOA

my eyes are burning

w00t this party is gonna own...

KarateKid

i don't recall PVD ever having spun for under 3 hrs here in TO either .. but correct me if i'm wrong ..

Posted by Special K on Sep-22-2003 21:14:

PVD played for around 4 hours the last time he was here.

Best case scenario (for me anyways) will have Mark opening and closing the night. Hopefully PVD will come on @ around 1am and play for a good 4 hours.

As for Deep Dish mehhhhhhhhh I could care less about seeing them. Ive finally given up on them (it only took 6 tries lol).

Posted by Special K on Sep-22-2003 21:17:

ps. did anyone here catch PVD's first Toronto show? When he spun with Max Graham @ Industry a few years back? I think cover was 15 on a Saturday night for that party. I somehow doubt well ever have the opportunity of seeing those two in the same room on a Saturday night for $15

Not a Goldclub sponsored event. Goldclub's contract will be done by Oct 1st so you can say goodbye to Goldclub events. But by the looks of it, Guvernment can easily pick up the slack in bringing in the big name talent. Actually price-wise its not bad. $15-20 for Armin is very decent - most of us would pay more for him. You always get a great extended set from him. $30-40 is pretty much what you would have to expect for PVD AND Deep Dish.

Am I the only one who wants to pull through armins set into pvds w/o any rest
