Godskitchen!!!! M.I.K.E's coming to town

i hope M.I.K.E opens with a nice intro....(PUSH-Universal Nation (LIVE mix,-the place with go crazy!)

I hope M.I.K.E. is last for the night, I'd prefer an uplifting set at the end of the night then a bangin' Cosmic Gate set.

I wouldn't want him last as he is best suited at peak time with Marco V following him....seeing a progression through the night. I want to be fresh when I see him not in the wee hours of the morning when i'm ready for bed...

Posted by -=M=- on Sep-24-2003 03:20:

as i understand it, m.i.k.e follows steve strangis who's opening

dont forget that theres still cosmic gate and marco v on main stage to rape

Posted by jizza on Sep-24-2003 03:30:

i'm comin hardcore

ooh i hope they play that extended 23 minute version of exploration of space!!!

Posted by wick on Sep-24-2003 04:01:

fuk yea! cant wait for this.
i actually like cosmic gates sets. i know their latest cd was absolute shite, but their later sets are always mad.
mike is gonna rip it up too, if he plays universal nation i will be in heaven.
10 days!! gonna be one hell of a night. lets just hope it isnt another two tribes with wayyyy to many people there.

oh dont get me wrong, cosmic gate's set earlier in the year at QBH rates as one of my best experiences this year (reynolds agrees but he's afraid to admit that cheese ownz him).

coupled with M.I.C.H.A.E.L. and tripled with marco v, this should be gurnfest spectacular 2003. seeya all there (if i dont grope you first).

Posted by Paulie on Sep-24-2003 04:15:

Cosmic i have feeling will creep under everyones skin with their relentless beats and killer melodies. Fear it people, for I have witnessed julesPLees succumb to the cheese!

p.s Reynolods ure next! believe in the hype!

STEVE 'Van' STRANGIS Rocking it! and then there's M.I.K.E ...........LUVIN IT!

I'm really looking forward to seeing M.I.K.E. next weeekend, he's been my trance idol for the past few years. It continues to amaze me just how many tracks he's made & how the great majority of them are of such high quality. He's the best trance producer of all time in my eyes.

Hope to hear lots of his own tracks in his set and with Universal Nation as an encore.

True, I guess Cosmic gate would be better for the end(come down stage) of the night.

Posted by Aesthetic on Sep-24-2003 08:49:

check out the sig . M.I.K.E. is the worlds best producer, and you hear people say this every friggen event that roles around, but he is the only one that i've ever said it about. the man is a fucking genius and im first in line to get my titties signed.

from what i hear he only plays the newest of new shit though, and even though i am hoping to hear strange world and universal nation, i might be part of the dissapointed within that respect. however, he's still the man .

Posted by narcism on Sep-24-2003 11:21:

Apparently he doesnt play his own productions in his sets
Doesn't bother me tho, marco vvvvvvvv is the man i wanna ccccc

Well hopefully he does at GK, I'm hangin' to hear strange world & tranzy state of mind.

I've just wanna tranzy state of mind on a huge sound system, that will be the highlight of my night

All this talk is getting me mega pumped already

Posted by Mikrop on Sep-24-2003 17:00:

I will be EXTREMELY disappointed if I don't hear Universal Nation... I mean, why wouldn't ANY dj play it, let alone the guy who made it. The crowd would go absolutely fkng nuts

Posted by narcism on Sep-25-2003 10:59:

i wanna hear marco's faithless bootleg.. but i wont and neither will we hear any push productions

Posted by Breeze on Sep-25-2003 11:48:

why is that?

Posted by stamper on Sep-26-2003 06:45:

So does anyone know if this is Push LIVE, or is it just a set.

Cos in the GK over in London i'm pretty sure he did a live performance with the synths and everything and he played heaps of his own tunes then including Universal Nation.

Now that would be cool!

Any work on set times?

really hopes he drops Urban shakedown ! we'll absolutely go ballistic to this.......

I've seen M.I.K.E play both live and dj sets and he does play his own productions. When I saw him live at Godskitchen this year he opened with The Legacy, and finished with Universal Nation (extended mix)

Taken from www.inthemix.com.au

Qouted from M.I.K.E.

"Now, I'm playing the first time in Australia, I think yes, because the people are really coming to see me and they expect me to play my own tunes of course. People expect you to give them something personally. What can I give more then my own music and all the expressions and emotions I put into it, and to give it to them, and if I see thousands of people, or hundreds, whatever, freaking out in front of me, I say like 'yeah, that's what I'm doing it for'. Here in Europe, now that I'm more established, because people know me now for a couple of years, so I've got more credit to play more techy electro, but definitely my first time for my visit in Australia I will really kick their asses with my own tracks."
