Who's the most overated producer?

Here's a list of all the popular trance producers.. who do you think is overated?? I voted for Airscape..All their trax sound the same and you can't compare their production work to producers like PVD or Agnelli & Nelson!!
I thought of putting Darude and the Warp Brothers on this list but I figured everybody will probably vote for them and then it won't be interesting!

Oke, maybe Flight 643 But still, he screwed his Revolution album, he played similar sets almost everywhere lately. Well, he's going down. Oh and Magik Seven wasnt that big either. Good, just not good enough from what I was used with Tiesto

He's getting less and less good... :/

I will get flamed massively for this but PVD is way overated as a producer. Don't get me wrong, I love PVD and as a DJ he is one of the best, but every production he's put out from 1999-present has been cheesy or dull. I miss his old work "For an Angel", "Love Stimulation".

U obviously havent heard the full album or something..there many tracks that just kick ass from his past to his lastest album...which werent released but are fuckin amazing tracks...and Pure Genius in Production and very original

Pikes,Columbia,Face to Face,Out there and Back..etc...

his songs take u to a journey....i know i know Alive was cheezy.,...Telly me why was kinda as well but i really liked the Dub mix of it .....it was amazing!......... For an angel, and Another Way.....for that reason alone hes not over rated ONE BIT!!!! ..hes UNder Rated

are you serious.....they might not produce many tracks often but every track is so damn good that they make..........

Well I have to admit that Fratty boy is ALRIGHT, but what about Vegas huh? I dunno, overated I think!

I guess it's just a matter of opinion then, I personally don't like their style! I thought el-nino was good, then everyday was alright but it sounded like el-nino backwards, embrace was again very similar, too simple for my liking, and I don't like vegas at all, and hudson street I REALLY don't like! Frattboy was the only good tune produced under afterburn as well! What can I say? I think Agnelli n Nelson are definetly overrated!

Well i hate to do it but.... Rank 1. Superstring was amazing but got boring after the 100th time. Airwave was overrated i tink. But i mean that poll was soo hard. I sat there for ages trying to think of which one i could pick !

BTW Angelli and Nelson are Amazing. Vegas was the fucking BOMB! That track is one of the best ever.

Ahh.. this is an old poll.. now that I see the results i'm really suprised! Ferry and Armin got no votes, which is good.. but Tiesto and PvD got most of the votes, that's weird! I agree that as a dj, pvd is pretty overated, but as producer he kicks most of the trance producers out there..!

Agree with you on that one. Although they have some good stuff (like "L'esperanza" and their Remix of Vengaboys' "Kiss") most of their work are average.

I think he is WAY overrated as a producer AND as a dj. My god, I really don't understand why everyone adores him and kisses his ass. And yes, I have seen him live. So I know what I'm talking about.

Scot Project
Apperantly, he doesn't know what the verb "to innovate" means. It can be nice to hear 1 of his songs, maybe 2, but it starts to annoy very very quickly!! He uses the same patterns over and over again.

I voted for Thrillseekers, althought it was a toss up between them and Airscape... Thrillseekers remixes and productions all sound very similar... much like Airscape, but I loved the airscape mix of Played-A-Live so I went for Thrillseekers, Synaesthesia was just a boring song that everyone else flipped over... IMO :-)

DJ Tiesto is way overated as a producer. I think hes is so popular from his DJing not his producing. DJ Tiestos song wrighting is good but the producing side of things is poor

DJ Tiesto got his first big break as a DJ not a producer.

PVD is also overated as a producer. song wrighting is poor but the production is good and nicely set out.

DJ Tiesto 6/10

PVD 7/10

and yes I do like Epic/uplifting
