Favorite RPG of All Time?

Just wondering what your favorite rpg of all time would be? Personally, Final Fantasy 5 and Mario RPG are tied for my best.

To me, Xenogears has the best history ever, but not exactly one of the best games on the playability side, just cuz its sucking TOO easy, and dont offer much replayability since u cant change much on the characters abilities and style of play...
Still an incredible game, but not to play a lot of times... (especialy cuz u cant skip the extremely long cut-scenes that are gorgeous the first time, but deeply annoying later)

(note: i dont mean the ass-tastic NES versions, nor do i mean 8, 9 or online. 7 and 7 part 2 are the best, then 5)

however.

if you are talking about consoles:

1. dragon warrior 4
2. ff6
3. xenogears
4. valkyrie profile
5. chrono trigger

^^my top 5. runners up include the breath of fire and suikoden series.

This game is HUGE!!! I beat him yesterday on light side and now I began on dark side!

With Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy 7, 8 en 10 the best RPG I ever played!!

Secret of Mana (SNES)

I liked those better than the newer Final Fantasy games though I really enjoyed 7 8 and 9 (have not finished 9 yet went too fast and got stuck on the last disc at some horribly low exp level).

I have not played much in the last few years though and have not ever played a PC RPG.

I haven't played many RPG's...but my fav's include Chrono Trigger, FF7, FF8 (many people hate this one, I dunno why...) and Vagrant Story tops it off. Xenogears is pretty good, but I never got around to finishing it.

I'm really lookin forward to Final Fantasy 12, hopefully my friend buys a PS2.

Number 1 on my list, and will be number 1 forever, is Final Fantasy VII.

Second place goes to Xenogears.

Other great ones I've beaten are Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy X, Xenosaga, Suikoden I & II, Final Fantasy Tactics, Grandia II was pretty cool, Lunar: Silver Star Story. I''ve played quite a bit of RPG's, but those are tops on my list.
