There are many people I know who moved from Cali to Austin because of the high housing prices and lack of jobs. No joke!

The people I was referring to were moving from LA, so that's probably why they were happy to leave. Yeah San Fran and San Diego are great though. I go to San Diego semi-regularly to visit relatives there. Do the salaries match the cost of living, or is it pretty unbalanced? I was thinking about transferring to a college in San Diego.

Oct 03 - Jimmy Van M @ Spundae (1015 Folsom)
Oct 04 - D:Fuse @ Release SF (1015 Folsom)
Oct 04 - Timo Maas @ PS2 Dual Play Tour (Ruby Skye)

That's the weekend you are coming, right?

I am going to D:Fuse for once, and might stop by Timo Maas before heading over....

what kind of music does dfuse play?

and i am not too concerned about rent prices. so far everything i am looking at this weekend will cost me less than what i pay now and i will get 4x as much space and a parking spot. cant beat that.

the search is underway... saw one place in palo alto so far. it was nice but i think i have my heart set on woodside. looking at 3 or 4 places there tommorow and saturday. i used craigslist mostly but i also have a realtor. i think tommorrow we are going to have a look at the community bulletin board as well. the move is definitely happening, i got rotated here for my job for 8 months. i went to the plant today and it is absolutely fantastic, i cant wait to work there. i am a little scared about moving but my boyfriend is coming with me which is a big comfort.

and jdat.... i hope i get to see you again sometime! you disappeared or something!

D:Fuse rocks SF all the time. He was originally an Oakenfold prodigy, but now basically does his own stuff with his own style.

Plus Behrouz is playing!

I am actually going to go see him for the first time......I've been lazy.

So, tomorrow night.....Timo Maas @ Ruby Skye followed with a trip over to 1015 for D:Fuse.
