i hate windows xp

hey does anyone here know how to hack into the computer administrator account in windows xp? the computer i use doesnt let me create a user account for myslef and i have to use the guest account, and i cant go on msn anymore becuase u have to have this new version installed and im not allowed to install it bcuz i dont have the authority, stupid windows xp. please let me know as soon as possible if anyone has any ideas, thanks.

Win2000 is good, but WinXP is better... and it sux only cuz you don't know how to use it, which is YOUR problem.

Anyway, if you need to crack the default winXP password, go to http://www.oxid.it/ and download CAIN. That should take care of it.

Agreed. Its the most stable Microsoft system I have run on any of my machines and thats including win2k and win server

It wont let him run it, he doesnt have admin privelages.

ok my dad (comp. admimsitrtor) forgot to or just didnt bother logging out of his account and went somwehere. i then went into his account and installed msn 6 to the guest account. i was gonna create an account for myself but he would eventually find out and i dont know if id be able to go bak on msn, so i never created an account for myself. anywayz i got msn back, and im online now.

Anywho, I realy dont know how you can work of a family machine. Grab one for yourself it'll run you like 700 (pretty decent machine too) and then just grab a refurbished monitor for like 60 and you have a capable machine

nah i cant even afford to buy cd's, i dont know when ill get a computer for myself, maybe next year.

Hacking a windows machine locally is easy as pie, you have a couple options.

1) Get a bootdisk , bootup the machine and delete sam.exe and sam.log from the winnt\system32\config folder.
This will change the admin password to nothing

2) Get a special bootdisk that changes sam passwords, there are a few of these, just search for one.

3) If your dad hasn't been patching the computer to keep it safe from the new worms and stuff floating around recently you can gain remote access and create a new user acount with admin privilages. I won't actually post the exploit code here or all the steps to do it, but search for MS03-026 (I think that's the related security advisory). It's called the DCOM RPC vulnerability. You could also check around for the new one, RPC DCOM Heap overflow, MS03-039.
