Why couldn't that be trance??

The original version of Rapture was at PvD Politics of Dancing, and I belive it's a trance album..

Rapture (original) is chilled and a bit ambitient.. but still trance IMO

The original wasn't on POD, it was PvD's rework. The original is sorta commercial housey. It's not very good. Only the Riva/AvB remixes are trance, I'd say.

Original is considered basic club/top 40. the original is not trance.

The 'J Creamer & Stephane K' mix is my favourite version of this song. It is considered under the general header of 'progressive' isnt it?

While the differences between prog house and prog trance are not easily discerned and many tracks drift along the fuzzy border between the two, Creamer's mix qualifies as progressive house. So yeah, you could call it "progressive".

yeah, I was actually tempted to define it as progressive trance but I figured it wud be easier to sit on the fence in case I was "wrong"

either way, to me this is definately in the genre of "good music that I enjoy listening to", as opposed to "music I dont like"

it comes ounder the 'shit' genre, although the avb remix pisses on most tunes.

Original = Pop
Armin's Remix = Trance

Well the Deep Dish Rmx is all that matters - and IMO it was brilliant cuz it transcends multiple genres and appeals to fans of each

*THAT* is something that RARELY ever happens... You had 'Trance' DJs and 'House' DJs caning that thing for all it was worth back in mid 2001.
