What do you do while downloading?

This is mainly for people on dial-up connections. What do you do while waiting for things to download whether its a 100mb live set or a 10mb single track what do you do to kill time?

Heres my list:

1. Listen to other tracks I've already downloaded
2. Post on tranceaddict message boards
3. Watch TV or play some kind of video game

For me if its something big I want to download I'll just put it on before I go to bed.

Ahhh I wish I had broadband connection

I'm stuck on stupid 56k as well .

I like to:
1.Play solitare
2.Watch TV
3.Listen to stuff I've downloaded or other CDs
4.Chat on ICQ
5.Post on Forums (even it gets slow when you're downloading)

Since Im with the 56K , i try to not do much while downloading cause it slows it down, I most of the time POST here, and chat through AOL and ICQ. BIg files, I just get them started just before I go to sleep.

Yes, the same here. Downloading something @ about 100kb/sec is normal here and I continue surfing...

For me it's 300kb/sec (T1)

So what would you DL in a month then? I do 5-6GB on a Dial-up connection which is on almost 24/7...Which isn't bad for a "time-wasting" DUC...

5-6GB on a Dial-up!!!! Thats crazy. Im on dial-up and the most I probably download in a month is 2-3GB, but I also don't download 24/7

I either read a few different messageboards, or play some street fighter on dc or ps2. Dialup sucks. At least by the end of August I will have a college connection to use to get my fix of trance. Villanova University here I come.

1.i sit here piss and moan that it takes like an hour just to dl one song..
2.kick my pos 56k modem
piss and moan on irc about how much my city sucks for not having cable access...
3.attempt to cruise the net but then stop when it takes ten minutes to load a page
4.basicly piss and moan...thats why i only have 1200 or sum odd tunes and minimal live sets cuz the last one i dl took five days of resuming...lol

hmm...i seem to have forgotten the topic of this thread...made it into one of them bitch threads again rofl...heh

heheh, you got more tunes then me, and i'm on dsl, but on the other hand i got like 400 livesets (but that's good for you, hehehe, now don't go telling everyone *wink*)
