...after those great breaks in songs, there's nothin better than a good buildup to get the dance floor throwin their hands up in the air and goin crazy/nuts/etc:

Sunscreem - Exodus [fire & ice mix]

whenever i listen to this songs with it's minute + bulidup, i have to restrain myself from getting off my chair dancing like a maniac... anyone else have one of these songs?!

I agree with the Scooter remark, but I think that Imperiale by Mario Piu & Mauro Picotto with its 6 minutes+ build up has got to be the winner in this category. Its over a year old and I still find it irriesistible.

If it's about buildups, then the classic Veracocha - Carte Blanche is very high on my top list. Neve - Sacrifice [Sagitaire Remix] rules also.

Right tune, wrong mix... i think the Pulser Mix has a better buildup

But my fave buildup isnt in a trance tune, its HH and its 'Muzik 4 The People' and ive just got a mental block on who did it... it was on hard house nation 1...

Trance buildup though, gotta be Cygnus X - 'Superstring'

Hmm, I'd have to say veracocha - carte blanche, dropzone - good and bad, and finally (I'm sorry ) darude - sandstorm have amazing buildups. Although I'm very sick of the latter song And IMHO the alaska vocal mix is better than the sagitaire mix of sacrifice.

The peep(s) behind that song vicious circles is Poltergeist.. someone told me the record sleeve is fucked up they just wrote vicious circles twice..

anyyyyways.. I haven't heard the new mix by Max Graham yet,is it a lot better than the Union Jack remix??

Where does "Madagascar" have a buildup ? ... you mean, breakdown when that little catchy synth line kicks in. That's a breakdown, not a buildup.

And AmpBurner - yup, I have been lucky enough to play that track @ a club myself a while back ... really wicked system too ... everybody thought the buildup was over after the first barrage of kickdrums started ... hehe =) ... totally ripped up the place .

DJ Furee, the new remixes of Vicious Circles are totally different style than the first release / remixes (when Platipus used to have those really tripped out record sleeves). The original used to lean a lot towards psy/goa trance, the new rmx is just driving deep progressive ... you should listen to it, a-f***n-mazing.

And yup, I think they messed up the label on the new release, the artist should be Poltergeist.

Yeah, Darude - Sandstorm has a GREAAT buildup.. i was totally extatic when heard it for the first time.
