online vinyl addiction
i am llike majorly addicted to buying records online. i just cant help it. its so easy. a click here, a click there, listen to some samples, check out some new tunes, another click or two and bam, $55 spent. with out even thinking. i love the tunes, and its alot better than spending money on drugs or whatever but damn, i am gonna go broke. does anyone else have this problem? i cant be the only one. puh-leez, somebody, tell me that i'm not the only one.
btw, dancegrooves.com rocks. i got tunes from them quicker than from satelliterecords.com. <-- they're in NY, I'm in Mass, and dancegrooves is on the other side of the friggin ocean. and dancegrooves website is way easier to get around. my plug of the day
do you know any local record shops in mass? the only ones i know are newberry comics and satellite records in boston.
i go to satellite, virgin megastore (the 2nd floor actually has some decent tracks, i picked up pvd - time of our lives/connected the other day) between those three, i can usually find what i want but i do get the most of my records online. buy a cd deck, it'll ease the pain
i live in western mass, so my options are pretty limited, newbury comics usually has some good records but you cant really count on them to have what your looking for. in amherst, there is a record shop called the growroom but they have mostly underground rave type music, i.e. not PvD, AvB, Tiesto, Oakenfold, Gabriel & Dresden.....
btw, are either one of you going to Armin@AvalonBoston on Saturday?
