What is a .cue file ? what can we do with it ? thanks
You use these when you wanna burn long mp3s (albums, sets) and you want the album to have tracks in them ... So you can skip some tracks or whatever...
It tells the disc (when burning) where to put 'tags' for each songs ... Exemple
Track one begins at 00:00:00
Then track two begins at 00:03:50
etc etc ... each number represent time (mm:ss:ff) (minute:second:frame)
And sometime, when you see that two 00:00:00 follow one after another in a cuesheet, it creates these 'negative' times you often see when playing a mixed CD on your CD player (-00:02:00) ...
Hope that answers your question.

You can use them by first opening them with NOTEPAD and editing the first line where you're supposed to see the directory in wich it's supposed to be (ei, FILE "c:\CDImage.mp3" MP3)
Edit it and make sure it's in the right directory it currently in.
Also make sure your MP3 or WAV file is in the same dir as the cue.
If it's a wav, edit the cue and change it to FILE "C:\CDImage.wav" WAVE .
Ok
Then open Nero Burner/CDRWin (whatever program that supports cuesheets) and load the cue and BURN BABY BURN!
Hope that answers your other question
Ohhhhhhhhh , now i see , now how to make a cue file ?
You can make a cue file when you extract a CD (ripping) it to wav or mp3...
Or you can create one (for livesets for exemple) by just kinda copying the patern a cuesheet for an album would look like but trying to fit the times to the songs that end/start in the liveset (or whatever you're trying to make a cuesheet for).
ps. I edited my first post .. check it..
Thanks once again Jipi
