favorite/most challenging final boss

i thought golden sun had a pretty hard final boss, which made the game a litle more fun. also if anyone remembers jet force gemini, which was a stupid little game for n64, but that games final boss was so hard it took me so long to beat it.

to me a challenging battel at the end makes it so much more rewarding to beat the game, i was always dissapointed at the zelda series casue there final bosses to easy

NeoExDeath in Final Fantasy 5 by far... One of the most exhilirating battles I've ever faced. Even being cheap and using !CoinToss will still not prevent you from getting your ass kicked. Unfortunately, nowadays, most final bosses are cakewalk (Like that stupid boss at the end of FFX that *YOU COULDN'T EVEN DIE ON*)

End of game boss on Megaman Legends was a beast. Especially on the hardest mode.

Still beat the swine though. I love that game.

That too, but no ... I ment from RTCW, the last boss .... I assumed it was Hitler.

Megaman Legends rocks, hehe!

Hardest bosses got to be:

Star Ocean 2 (Very Hard, but if u do some events on the game that turn its limitter off, it becomes a huge challenge even for a maximum level 250 party with the best equipments)

Saga Frontier 2 (This one is not even funny... it's frustrating)

A few other hard (and cool) final bosses:

Saga Frontier (Especialy at Emelia, Aselus and the Robot's scenarios)
Phantasy Star 4
FF5 (as mentioned already)
Secret Of Mana
Megaman 7 and 9 (Rockman & Forte)

It wasn't Hitler, it was some resurrected zombie (the one that you see in the intro movie). This boss wasn't even hard. The robotic boss you fight before the final boss was a lot harder.

The ghosts he sends on you are a killer, and a pain in the ass cuz you cant kill them.
