Arrow London Club Scene?

I am going to London for the first time and want to know which clubs would be worth going to. Anything trance related I would love! Thanks for your help.

pacha supposed to be nice...ask timmy

If u like DnB go to Fabric

occasionally Ministry do a good night...

but apart from that stick with Heaven and Turnmills

Posted by magnasoma on Oct-02-2003 12:32:

Pacha is pretty nice if u like to dress it up a bit. Last time i went there my mate left me at the door and i was on my lonesome coz me other chums were already inside hours before. It got to a stage where u had to be with someone to get in, so i found myself these two cute twins to talk to outside. I turned on The Salon the other week and they were in it, heh, twin beauticians. That kinda sums up pacha.

U don't go there for the music

More so on the glam front is Puscha (i think that's how its spelt) and Rouge.

The Coronet is about to debut and i get the feeling that's gonna be kind of like Passion in London.

And The End do some good nites too. I've done a good few Layo&Bushwacka! nites there and the atmos has been wicked. Last time we saw Phil Mitchell. Nice white loafers baby.

Posted by dstrukt on Oct-02-2003 12:55:

Aye it was defo Phil alright, them shoes rocked

And Lam! Ministry sometimes do a good night!? NO!!! Ministry in a night of intense cheese euphoria :P

Posted by magnasoma on Oct-02-2003 12:58:

Yeah its so cheese that when we went, sandrine fell asleep in a corner, papa dstrukt went home and vommed blood and i, err, i danced a bit to cafe del mar and had a chat with some twat about my trainers.

Posted by dj_mdma on Oct-02-2003 15:34:

rofl, sounds like it was a fun night

hmmmm maybe i'm thinking of the student nights there where all drinks are 1.50?! the memory is hazy.......

Posted by SleeplessAndy on Oct-02-2003 15:47:

*cough* Sleepless *cough*

Contrary to popular belief, there are in fact other clubs than Gatecrasher and Turnmills.

Posted by gfarmer2 on Oct-02-2003 16:04:

yeah type and serious offer good trance nights at the cross with a wicked venue.

riot at the end is pretty banging...
fridge.. is well.. frantic
camden palace on a occasion as good nights

but yeah turnmills.. and just got there xmas party list ferry and armin

Posted by SleeplessAndy on Oct-02-2003 16:16:

Frantic have moved all their events to Egg, I think.

Not sure though..

Renaissance at Cross monthly is awesome, proggy trance with Nigel Dawson type stuff. Serious is also very good indeedly.

The End is excellent, check their website for listings. Proggy stuff with Steve Lawler, and breaks with the Chew the Fat lot are the nights to go to. Great crowd, superb sound.

Posted by gfarmer2 on Oct-02-2003 16:18:

Actually if you are going out this weekend..
its all night long which is layo and bushwacka all night and they are launching there new allnightlong album this weekend.. so it should be pretty good down there..

Posted by Misty Kitty on Oct-02-2003 16:52:

I have always wanted to ask someone... what are trainers? And I will be going to London in Novermber. Everyone's ideas are great thanks for the advice!

Posted by dj_mdma on Oct-02-2003 22:27:

Trainers are what you guys would call Sneakers.

you're coming to London in November? Our plans for November include Crasher @ Passion (which is in leicester) on 1st november. there is a thread about it somewhere. The lineup is very very sweet.

Also we are gonna do the Gatecrasher NEC event on the 29th november, which also has a sweet lineup. It includes, PvD, Tiesto, Matt Hardwick, Scott Bond, Gabriel n Dresden, Jules, Armin, Ferry and Motorcycle performin As the Rush Comes live.

Its also Tiesto at GC London on the 28th, which will be a great pre-NEC party
