Gamesmaster 2003 Remix...

I have had this for a few weeks now and still cant decide if i prefer the original, the Micheal Woods Remix is quite different from the original but the Matt Darey 2003 seems very similar...

Do you think this should of been left alone and its goes with all the other classics ruined by up to date remixes??

Or do you think its good to revive a classic every so often?

I have charted this at 14 at present, i do play it out but i may have to dig out the original now to put it to test.

I like the original as well as the new 2003 remix matt darey did...the 2003 mix would work better on the floor

Well Matt Darey said in a interview that he remade the Lost Tribe and Li Kwan songs to tell people that he really is those aliases...i think this was smart in a way because alot of people thought Lost Tribe and Li Kwan was Paul Oakenfold .

Yet these 2003 remixes are awesome especially the Michael Woods Remix, but nothing will ever beat the MAIN Original and Signum Mixes back then.

well, Matt Dareys old style was unbeaten IMO, his new style is very shocking IMO

Li Kwan - Point Zero 2003 is actually pretty awesome actually, i like it more than the Original BUT i still prefer Matt Darey - From Russia With Love as it sounds better.

the original gamemaster was so damn awesome, one of those classic trance tunes that will forever remain as a trance landmark. (imo at least ) i think that the 2003 remixes are a good way to bring back this track, because every once in a while people who are just getting into trance need to see its past highlights. the 2003 release is better for the floor for sure.. and yeah i think that some tracks do need to be brought back once in a while.

speaking of remakes, has anyone heard of new remixes of heaven scent for a while? ahh such a great track...

yea.. gamemaster was a great track... the new remix is nice too.. but i prefer the original... but hey, someones gotta remix it... only way we will ever hear it in a big venue.

personally the original sounds too much like quench - dreams which is from 97 if im not mistaken.. the signum mix adds some variety too it

I prefer the new mw remix to the standard gamemaster 2003, the lead is far better imo
