Irish teenager gouges out eye with pliers on ecstasy

Some guy just came over to my a few minutes ago to show me the front page of todays Irish Sun newspaper.

I cant find a link to it online, but neways, some Irish teenager took 3 ecstasy tablets and was convinced that there were rats inside his head. So he got a pair of pliers and ripped his eye out.

I think he was from Louth or Laois..

seriously though, do you not think that is a bit far fetched? more likely he took a YABA (a type of amphetamine that has some sort of hallucinogenic abilitys)

I heard of a guy who took a few pills once nite in a club and thought his legs had sunken into the dancefloor.

why?

pills/mdma make you happy, therefore you will have a good trip, cos u r in a good mood, rather than think that you have rats in your head. its called a candyflip, for obvious reasons.

also it makes no sense to cut pills with LSD as LSD costs a lot more than pill substances. Unless they were damn good pills

what the kid could have taken was PMA which is a shit derivative of MDMA, and what unscrupulous chemists pass off as pills. its effect are nothing like E.

again, its just media crapness

Mdma is a hallucinogen, but the chances that it was mdma alone that caused this is basically 0. Taking mdma along with other drugs will not necessarily mean ur gonna enjoy urself, or u cant have a bad trip btw.
The only way i can (almost) see this ever happening is if he had severe mental problems, probably underlying, and took some very strange drug mixture, like datura, pcp and methamphetamine or something. Even then its not very likely.
In general, the sun and co will word their stories on drugs (mdma in particular) very carefully, leaving out significant details like other drugs used etc, so even if it is true u can bet u wont get the whole story from the sun.

My ex-girlfirend was born with a 3rd set of teeth and had to have 16 removed! Had to wear braces for years, but she has perfect teeth now. Kinda scary but everything worked out for her in the end

Hmm. I would expect this story to be plastered all over the suns site. Ive checked other news sites too and theres no sign of it. Were u ON any hallucinogens urself when u saw this? Or did u make it up to see how certain people would react for a laugh or something??

acid is cheap as hell.. mostly due to the fact trip dosages are measured in mics (basically a drop or 2 on a piece of paper)...

I'm almost 100 percent certain it was PCP he took. Removing your own eyes ranks at the top of the list of reported medical incidences by hospitals of people who get really high on PCP. This is followed by removing one's own teeth. I can't imagine what the aftermath was like for him. Realizing what he had done but without a second chance.
