Hey dbl,
Nice work!I like the track, especially the flanger on your basslineBut I think it's too much reverb here,so the sound is not clear for me and the kick could be louder. But anyway your idea is super!

Posted by Massive84 on Oct-03-2003 22:41:

i think you need a whole diffrint kick, ,i really like the vocal effect, or what ever it is,

Further i think the break, needs to be more allive

but i liked the track mate

Posted by dbl on Oct-05-2003 15:54:

thank's for the comments...
new kick.. hmm.. i hate kick's.. can never get a kick that i like.

but i will see if i can change it

this is lovely stuff mate, i know i seem to say alot of tracks on this forum are great and all but its surprising how much quality talent there is out there.

as has already been said, love the flange on the bassline! adds an interesting element. the hi-hats used flow real nicely and are unique, they stood out to me. i dont think the two keys in the buildup are boring, because the bassline key changes complement them real nicely.

vocal samples excellent! real close-ur-eyes and feel the power material. melody is beautiful even if it does sound familiar but i cant quite put my finger on what it sounds like. nice riffage too quite uplifting, the only time i cringed a little was at 5:14 when u change the melody up i dont think it needed that .. it sounded better as it was imo, even if it was a little overpowered by the bassline. it reminded me of the change-up in Nu-NRG's remix of Pure Thrust .. just doesnt sound right.

really great track tho! im coming to expect alot from the tracks i check out here!

edit: what does ketoprofen mean out of interest?

Dunno if it's the same in Sweden but in Finland it's a sort of drug. Not the kind of drug you get high with but the other kind
Can't remember what it's used for though.

sounds like a mixture of ketamine and ibuprofen

not only will it put u in a k hole, it will sooth your aching muscles

got something to do with your muscles.. if they hurt and stuff... hehe.. but i kinda liked the name.. haha

thank's alot novastorm
was thinking of the change of the melodie too.. but didn't know if it was only me so i didn't change it.

and the melodie is actually kinda old.. don't know if it's some other track you have heard it from that i have made or not... but it isn't new.. heh

thank's again

wow great track! im in aweeeeeee

it reminds me a bit of airbase..

the percussion is a bit weak.. but the synt work is very powerful and mind blowing

great track, way above my level so I can't really comment on it other than saying its very uplifting.

This is so interesting - the style is cool, and those 'vocals' add a different flavor to it. The flanged effects, with those acid like synths (303 sounding)

This is definetly different from you usual super hard sounds. Very expressive in many ways. Good use of SFX, and the pads are pretty cool too. A different use of synths, from the norm. But when this weird synth comes in at 3:19, I feel dischord...and I get this weird feeling in my stomach...not good. I don't know, I think you should edit that part.

But the break down is pure power! I think you have great ideas my friend! I like this track a lot! Keep up the excellent work! -Mental

One last thing I 'feel' when I hear this track. Pain...so much pain. Like, enduring massive amounts of pain. Either physical, or mental, I don't know, but this song let's me feel that vibe. WOW After looking at it like that, it sorta makes me respect it even more! -Mental

thank's and yeah.. it's a bit different from what i usually make.
especially on my own.. have done a few remixes that i haven't posted.. well.. they haven't really been completed that have been kinda like it.

the pain thing... well... the name ketoprofen is some muscle relaxing thing for when you have pain in your muscles..

but, but intressting feeling.. haven't really thought of that..

thank's again all

You know, I really like this. Kick could be louder and more powerful. I'm with you though, I can never find a kick I am totally satisfied with.

i agree. the build-up could use some more elements, it takes a while untill it gets underway.. the vocal sample is very cool though.

the bassline rocks! it's very deep, but it drowns the kick a little..

i love the synths you used for the main lead, very powerful! the melody is great as well.

i think with a proper remaster, this track can be huge!

lol, i wasn't sure what to write..

if you don't know how to master a track properly, couldn't you find somebody else to do it? like i said, this tracks has a lot of potential!
