oh boy... i remember back in the days when trance.nu was new, every second or third thread would have been about scooter: mint or cheese.

scooter were mint in the old days, now scooter are cheese. End of story.

Just as trance tunes rip each other off. Music is based on plagarism.
It's what we these days refer to as "remix". But yah, scooter
is not in trance scene today, cause their not trance. They were
in style few years ago, when the synths sounds of trance 2003 and did
not exist yet. Now they had fallen behind, but I gotta
say it takes me back into some nice memories when I hear their
earlier works....

Wrong. A remix is done by request from the label the artist is signed on, with full consent from both artist and management. The objective of a remix is to create the remixers interpretation of the original tune. Plagiarism on the other hand, is stealing someone else's work and taking all the credit for the resulting product that is based on it.

What Push gotta do is come out with a track to make fun of these guys!

In the Jungle/DnB Scene ....

Twisted Individual has been producing jump up jungle for such a long time now.

Distorted Minds, came out with a track called "T Minus 10" and it really does sound like a bite off of Twisted Individual's style.

Sortly after, Twsited Individual came out with a track called Bandwagon Blues. They got DJ SS and Twisted Ind. talking in the begining about how some other crew is bitting his style and they sampled Distorted Minds. LMAO !!! Download it, and you see what I mean. Both tracks made nuff records sales and both are insanely sick!

Recently John B came out with a tune called, Bandwagon Poo! They sampled Twisted Ind., made him looks stupid and dissed him large !!!

eggs actly.

Back in 95-97, they were amazing. Original. They did rip-off Cher and Billy Idol, but at least back then it was done well. "Raving in memphis" and "midnight hour" were somewhat original, taking older songs and updating them with the happy hardcore flavour that was becoming big at the time.

And of course, They had a track called "Across The Sky" that predates a lot of trancecore/freeform. If anything, Scooter should be looking to their past and remixing their classics. "Go with what you know" type flow.

I had no idea they ripped off Strange World.

And when a remix is done, the track's original name is kept.

This new track they have is called "Maria"
the original was "Don't touch that stereo"
And what's worse, is... they ripped off the LIVE version.

Oh and what about Supertramp?? RAMP! (logical song)
what the fuck? They couldn't just call it "Logical song"
oh wait... that's right... cause then they'd have to pay respects to the jazzy softrock group of the 70's

I was referring to Ziggy who said that remixes are plagiarism, which is incorrect. Scooter on the hand are notoriously famous for stealing others people's work.

stealing/plagiarizing... what's the difference? NOTHING

they're one in the same pretty much.

Go read my first post again. I clearly defined what I consider to be plagiarism there

Man, I have lost faith in scooter since they started watering down the BPM + when MC HP started talking too much. AFter "RAving in MExico" it was pretty much over for me. Now they just produce shitty, repetitive, recycled, and predicatble CRap. ( hence from now on Reffered as S.R.R.P.C.). These guys should have quit after Ferris left.
