Just got in a copy of the ID&T release of Jaron Inc. Overflow. The original mix has a wierd vibration at certain spots it actually shakes the needle out of the groove and skips. Anyone ever experience something like this?

I don't think its the way my needles are set up cause i never had a problem before and this the only record that does it.

I guess it is a defect that happened when the vinyl was cut, i'm curious if this is an isolated incident or happens with the whole ID&T release?

p.s. How good is Chemical about returns for stuff like this?

you probably need more needle pressure... 'cuz I really don't beleve that a needle jumps 'cuz of the vibrations on the vinyl.

Chemical has no problems with returns, but it cost me the price of the vinyl itself just to ship it back (4-6 days), so it's not really worth it. If you ship it back the slow, cheap way (4-6 weeks) you won't get your replacement vinyl until they receive your vinyl.
