Homework tastes better with Ketchup
just wondering, how much homework do people do on average during regular days, midterms, finals?
im at uoft engineering second year, and we dick around a lot, during regular days we dont do any homework except for mandatory labs (and thats like one every 10 days). no assighments and at midterms we study for a few hours tops per test. are other courses like this too or do ppl actually do stuff during the weeks?
All I can say - you guys are REALLLY lucky
I could afford that only during my first year.

only reason i'm not studying is cuz i'm freaken sick.
i can't tell the difference wether the book is upside or rightway up
just finished 1st year UW computer science, I barely do any studying either bro, but I did enough studying in HS trying to get scholarships to last a few more years heh
kind of feels like im wasting my money though

All I can say is, in electrical, if you're skipping every single non-marked assignment and intend to catch up with it in one massive cramming session before the midterm/final, you're going to do poorly or possibly fail. But then, you never mentioned what kind of marks you were getting with that work ethic... I'm in 4th year elec at Queen's, which is slightly less work than U of T, and I do less work than most people here. So I can honestly say that I know the ropes, and you're probably pushing it by copying labs and only doing the mandatory work. |
so ill shut up now

I am 2nd yr Econ. major
I have alot of work to do and most of my courses are boring as hell.
I took this stupid elective thinking it would be easy, turned out it required the most work
I miss easy high school
Doing my MA in economics. I can potentially be doing work for every hour I'm awake, but I choose not to. All the concepts that were taken as given, back in undergrad, I need to fully understand now... wtf is wrong with taken shit as given! Ah well, I'm almost completed the program so the suffering will only be for a little while longer.
AL.
Studying... Whats that??
I try to study... so damn hard though... too many distractions. Same goes w/ doing homework. When choosing between work and sleep, i always take sleep... such a bad habit.
I rarely study and i get 75-80% marks
i'm UofT mech eng first year and i tend to go the night before the test/quiz and work for 5 hours straight to catch up and understand all the homework i missed... otherwise... i don't do much
Awwww I really wish I could slack so much this semester as I have been for the past...but I really can't..lol
Although rite now I'm suppossed to be doing stuff I can't seem to get my brain to work today...I look at the pages and it seems like a foreign language which I do not understand

Tomorrow is another day

What *doesn't* taste better with ketchup?
Between studies, two jobs, and all the social stuff - I've got shit loads to do.
I should be doing work right now, but instead I'm trying to find decent pictures to send to some family members. And by decent I mainly mean ones without alcohol being featured in them, amongst other unmentionables.
At least I'm listening to Drum and Bass while doing it. Hatim would be proud.
resnik, what engineering are you?
i'm 3rd elec at UofT and bro, all i hafta say is enjoy life for now!! enjoy your every second of that year. 3rd year is beyond fucked. I seriously mean when i say that in the last week i haven't had time to go get a haircut!
