Smiley DJ ReALLy RoLLLLLy SoNgS!!!

Suggestions Please!!

Me and my Bro are on a quest to find the rolliest techno/trance songs in the world. By rolly I mean....you can listen to these while on ecstacy and experience pure and utter bliss. We are working on an album for our own listening pleasures with nothing but rolly songs. Here is what a song needs to qualify....Has a distinctive beat (doesn't sound just like every other techno song u ever heard), has a beautiful build and drop, sound effects and background and speakers tricks help alot, also you must be able to dance to it, doesnt have to be too hard or too soft. Something soothing and melodic but that has energy. So far we have been able to get about 5 hours of music after everything was cut and blended to the best parts of the song...but we plan on rolling really really hard this year for our birthday's and that will never be enough. We need about 2 more hours of music...Dont get me wrong we love alot of songs and have a great big collection between the two of us, but some songs just fit perfectly, and we are looking for only those. We have been working on this for 2 months now and it seems like the process will never end. Can everyone please help and post some suggestions...or you can instant message me on aim at "eyesofextasy". I am always online, I might be away but send me a message anyway. I am very friendly ya know

get out of here you stupid e-tard!!

Posted by Mike_B on Oct-06-2003 17:36:

get out of here stupid texan, its your narrowminded attitude that the world can't stand and that causes problem everywhere. There's nothing wrong with a little consumption, that's what we in true free nations call freedom of choise. if you have nothing possitive to add then don't bother, cause we don't wanna hear it.

Wow. Can we be any more stereotypical?

so its okay to openly talk about taking drugs, but bad to talk about mp3s? it's a strange world these days.

lol

Posted by DannyO on Oct-06-2003 19:29:

I don't take E, but if I did I imagen these tracks would be killers, cos they are even without drugs.

Lee Haslam - Music Is The Drug
Ferry Corsten - Indigo
Svenson & Gielen - Twisted

dj tiesto - lethal industry (svenson & gielen remix)
alpha zone - stay
gms - gamma goblins (gms remix)
joshua ryan - pistol whip
nature one inc - alive and kicking (official 2003 hymn)

Angry Fuck u man!!

im from texas too man and i disagree with the other texan(Excite) that decided to open his fucking mouth... but like i said im a texan and not even close to being a redneck..hell no..im not even white.

i love trance and all its worth.. but just because some one from texas does something stupid.. dont go ahead and call every texan a redneck and shit.. have some decency..

if youre gonna be here dont criticize/.. just let people be.

Posted by Mike_B on Oct-06-2003 19:54:

wouldn't have to critisize if your friend didn't come in here acting like a ignorant person. As for texans ya im sure there are alot of decent ppl that live there. Actually my one of my uncle is from there and he is a great guy. But i'm sorry to say your suffering from the fact that all we ever see or here out of texans in the same kind of narrowminded view, mainly in the states politics. A.K.A George Bush.
Its really to bad for ppl such as yourself.

enough of this back to rolling tracks

Posted by Pio on Oct-06-2003 20:05:

haha, Excite was pwned by Swamper. classic

anyways, what edm track doesn't sound great while on e? pretty much anything goes. search around, it depends on what genres/styles you'd rather listen to to create a certain vibe. melodic, uplifting, tech, hard...whatever, they all create different moods and ambiances. i would go for nice varied livesets by the best djs, separate tracks are lacking something imo.

I take E in moderation and trust me, i'll give up E for trance. But how does being 14 and taking E make you gay?? just wondering.... not that i'm 14.

Agreed. This is slightly unnecessary.

Such a hetero.

Geez.

I would never have thought I'd see a thread like this...I actually sometimes pick out records cuz I know I'll wanna listen to them when I'm fucked up
Depending on where your gonna be, what time of day, how hard your rolling, what type of people your with...you can make an X trip a really good time if it's planned out really good. And of course, you need the music!

For melodies, I suggest these(only from first hand experience!)
Chicane - Autumn Tactics(Thrillseekers remix)
Hydra - Affinity
Young Parisians - U Write the Rules(Solar Stone remix)
Solar Stone - 7 Cities(Translatlantic mix)<----completely different song when your on E...OMFG
Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes
Any Mirco de Govia production or remix...try his latest, Final Emotion and Voller Sterne from his Chronoscale EP
Sonorous - Second Sun
Any MIKE production

Have fun!

ummm music is subjective, especially when on drugs. no one knows exactly what kind of music you like, so this thread is just going to turn into an infamous favorite tune thread.

Second Sun - Empire (PVD's TPOD Edit)
