t h e c r e a m

i anticipate the following
event/arrangement to be promoted
in the future

nu-nrg >> 11-3
j00f >> 3-7
pvd >> 7-11 or noon !

this line-up would be widely
welcomed by a wide audience in nyc!

for those true . trance . lovers
it would mean 12 continuous hours of
euphory

nes beautiful creativity, followed by
jfs musical assertiveness would not
leave any room for pvd promoting singles
but focusing on really transcending his
real talent creating musical journeys

has Nu-NRG ever done a 4 hour set? I had always assumed that they would only do live performances!?

how much do you anticipate that event will cost at the door? $150-200+ ?

help me out here

im trying to figure out exactly what you are telling us

Nu-NRG doesnt play more than an hr. [hr. and half max] - remember their shit is live, they do get tired.

That's if they play live, don't they also spin sometimes, I heard they do?

About the tickets, yeah, its would be really expensive, lol, 100+ sounds about right

...

personally, i think nes life performances are the
ultimate as far as deploying great music; being able
to improvise at will suitable effects and sounds
combined with their musical ability has created a
higher standard

when i saw them for the first time, to my amusement
i thought that those guys were from another planet!
seriously, they remind me of my favorite vivaldi cd's...
somehow i sense some parallels between the structure of
classical music and trance both evoking to dramatic and
ceaseless emotions

as far as the ticket prices i think $50 would be fine
since the venue would generate much more revenue from
the larger number of hipsters attending the "12 hour set"

the success of this possible effort would be unprecedented

For tranceyes22, maybe the closest you can get to that, at least in the US, is at the WMC

If next year's program is like this past one... (I hope they do find a place to replace Space34 - maybe Nocturnal will do it? 7 am closing on SoBe won't do it! )

Fri (Sat am): PVD, 2-8 am, followed by whoever is on the terrace (BT and Gabriel & Dresden also played during that time)
Sat: ULTRA (pretty much every big DJ you can think of), 11 am - 1 am
Sun: Deep Dish, 1 - 7 am (actually til the afternoon, but there's also...); Danny Howells, 7-10 am; Sasha came on later, but I'm not sure when
Add the Nikki Beach party after that (the only name I remember from that was Low End Specialists, but I'm sure the others were good too), to take you to Mon, 5 am

For more, add Thursday's program - Dance Valley (almost all the Dutch Dj's you can think of), 11 pm - 5 am, then Sasha & Digweed til Fri noon. Then all the pool parties that day.
