You can find it in pretty much every music store. Go outside and take a peek.

Absynth
Pro53
Albino has some nice ones as well but absynth is my favourite

Absynth (and 2) works great for me. And Pro-53, and maybe V-Station.

if absynth is so good for pads.. can someone describe a short howto (it mustn't be so detailed)?

which waveforms and settings is needed for a fat pad in absynth?, ...

Absynth is very capable of good pads, you just need to program them to your taste. Get working :P

A couple of tips for programming pads in Absynth:
- Use envelopes for modulation. Pads need some movement!
- Modulate different parameters with different length envelopes for a sound that continually shifts and doesn't repeat too much
- Try the Pipe effect

- Try an external chorus and reverb effects too, for good measure

Be Cool!

The best vsti for pads is Kotex. You can find it at most drug stores. Note that this is a disposable vsti. Some are recommended to be thrown away in a biohazard wastebag, these are known as stdi's.

Yes, goofy mood, sorry.
