When you post it, it seems as if you are taunting the rest of us with this proclamation. Similarly, I often feel as if Israel and the US taunt and patronize the rest of the world.

Maybe communication skills are lacking.

Yes communication skills are lacking.

Israel does have a chip on its shoulder, they always have. This does not mean I am "anti-Israel" or anything like that...it is the truth.

The current American leadership appears to have a similar chip on their shoulders too. As soon as anyone makes a peep of criticism of anything they say they become stand-offish and begin to bask in their percieved righteousness.

The rhetoric has gotten prety bad.

I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about.

I think this should be in the oath of every Prime Minister/President that takes an entry into office.

As for Israel, this is nothing new - it has had this policy as enunicated by Sharon since its inception.

I see no taunting with that statement. Seems to me like a proper warning especially since it is quite evident that some of these states ARE active supporters of terrorism. Sometimes Syria and their proxy state Lebanon need to be reminded that their transparent support for these groups will have consequences felt by THEM.

Restraint was excercised in attacking an empty target, however, the ball is now in the Syrian court to decide their level of committment to their anti-Israeli stance.

Do you read 'mju:zik's posts often? He tends to taunt so maybe now I read every post with the feeling he is taunting us.

Mr S who speaks English better than I, says what I wanted to say.

Israel and USA (current admin) and 'mju:zik could improve their communication skills; in fact, if Israel or USA hope to gain international support or even sympathy, they must improve their communication skills. Israel, with USA financial support, apparently doesn't need the support or sympathy of the rest of the world but it seems as though many people in USA would prefer that the administration not alienate itself as it has been doing of late.

I was not criticizing the Israeli attack on Syria. And I read the opening post and still feel it is a taunt.

muzik, you're defienatly an uneducated retard. Israel always had that as an official policy

Ah ... miscommunication. I thought you referring to Sharon's comments as taunting the arab world. I see no taunt in Sharon's statements at all with respect to the attack or the US's semi-support of it. With respect to mju:zik's statements there we might be in agreeance however the taunting has not been quite so one sided in this board ...

I do not think the word diplomacy registers in the mind of the Israeli government.

I dont think this idea registers in either side's mind very well.

I don't think it registers in anyones mind very well. Government wise, anyway. Look at the US. They openly said, "Fuck Democracy," when the UN told us not to go to war and we did anyway, just because Dubya had a boner for some killing. Most nations seem to be losing their diplomatic skills.

Or something.

Posted by 'mju:zik on Oct-08-2003 07:16:

true theve always had that policy, BUT I think theyve began implementing it more with the strike in Syria and warnings to Lebanon.

but you can see why the UN holds less purpose than the League of Nations with Syria being an active member.

Good old American style unilateralism. So Mr. Sharon are preemptive attacks to be expected?

"We must do everything to insure [the Palestinians] never do return. Their old will die and their young will forget."
-David Ben Gurion (Prime Minister & Minister of Defence 1948)

"Before the Palestinians very eyes we are possesing the land and the villages, where they and their ancestors have lived....We are the generation of colonizers."
-Menachem Begin (Prime Minister 1980s)

"The Palestinian threat is like a cancer. There are all sorts of solutions to cancerous manifestations. For the time being, I am applying chemotherapy."
-Moshe Ya'alon (Israel Chief of Staff 2002)

"Eventually we will have to thin out the number of Palestinians living in the territories."
-Eitan Ben Eliahu (Former Israeli Air Force Commander 2002)

Zionism is not the way to go about peace!

i cant stand lies and miss representation.

every respectable source quoted Moshe saying that the palestinian threat was like cancer, not that the palestinians were cancer

"If we don't win this war against the Palestinians, we will find ourselves facing a threat of cancer-like proportions,"
http://new.theage.com.au/articles/2...0053032971.html

The Israeli army chief of staff Moshe Yaloun said in a statement issued by the Israeli daily Haartez on Friday that the Palestinian Intifada is like a cancer
http://www.arabicnews.com/ansub/Dai...2002083101.html

if the arabic news doesnt say that moshe directly called the palestinians a cancer then i'm definitely not going to belive your quote. nor any of the other ones you posted.

please stop posting offensive stuff like that agian

btw the pic was hillirous - i enjoy the humor.
