VERY random post but ANY help appreciated

My car: Ford Escort 90's reg

Problem 1: Have no bloody idea how to use the immoboliser.
Problem 2: RPM counter not working (no movement). Guess the cable just needs reconnected but do not know where it is?!

I don't have the user manual so can't fix the problem by myself. I need help.
There must be one UK TA who has, or knows someone who has a 90's reg escort, its a very popular/common car.

If anyone knows answers to the above questions, or has any suggestions where I can find the answers, eg an internet forum, then PLEASE post a reply.

if you get no joy goto a halfords and buy a haynes manual for it, everything you need to know should be in there

well i would just 'fuck the immoboliser' if the alarm wouldn't repeatedly sound off randomly in the middle off the night and piss off my surrounding neighbours.

Anyway what about the RPMs fuck them too i spose?

To the guy who suggested halfords, i'd rather do this as a last resort cos the manuals are pretty expensive and i think my prob would be v easy to sort out if i just knew how!
