Ferry Corsten @ Avalon a Big WTF !

Allright, So me, it's not even a month before it goes down but i'm SUPER excited knowing that Ferry Corsten is going to be @ Avalon on november 22nd. So i'm surfing the net and come across this some site that has a good ammount of information on it. So 1 thing that caught my eye is that the tickets go on sale november 11th. I'm all happy n shit gettin the Credit Card ready n warm... Then i noticed something that made me even happier, the price is only 20 bucks !!! i mean, 20 bucks for a bitchin DJ. but then, i notice the 1 thing that just completely got me really pissed off. I see that the age you have to be to get in is 21 and over... What the hell ? i know they're gonna be selling drink but the Roxy is 18+ and they sell drinks. I'm only 18, i don't go their to get drunk, i get their drunk and just have a fun time. I'm bringing like 5 people with me to see him and we're ALL 18. I'm pissed off because that's just so fucking gay in my book. And i'm wondering if they're just assuming it's gonna be 21+ to be on the safe side or is it really gonna be 21+ ?! Cause if that's the case then i'm gonna chalk my ID like i said, i'm not going their to get and even if i was, i'm gonna know people in their over 21 that can get me drinks. It's not the case though, i wanna be able to get in and having to chalk my ID is just stupid. Can someone please prove me wrong in the whole age thing. It would make my day.

Worm Popper

Yeap it's 21+ with a pretty strict dresscode too. And I've also heard from reviews that sometimes if you don't have a "date" they won't let you in

Heh, good luck

Hey bro, I totally feel ya on the age thing. I've had the same problems in many clubs I wanted to go to. Bottom line, there are 2 options: don't go, or get a fake ID. You can bitch about it until you puke, but that's how things have always been. Try to find places 18 and over, but in the meantime you will be missing out on some DJs, remember though, you will have the chance to see every DJ you ever wanted in a few years. Or get a good fake, you run a risk of getting caught and wasting time and money, but that's your call, good luck!

We've ALL gone through that.

I'm planing on getting a Fake ID, i can pass for 21, alot of people tell me i look 20 1 year isn't a huge stretch , I talked to them today and they told me ladies get in @ 18, so the thing with the girls is pretty solved lol. My other guy friend can really pass for 21, he's got the whole beard n shit to go with it. My other guy friend on the other hand... He looks like he's 12 lol, he's short, no facial hair nothing. So i think i might have to leave him back. Any of you know where i can get a Fake ID in the city and for about how much ?

yea man I'm 19 and can't wait to be 21, cuz i'm missin out on so many good parties. it'll be all good in about a year and a half. I've thought about an ID but good ones are damn expensive

A friend of mine knows how to chalk and another one is damn fine with photoshop so he can probably do it, only problem would be the paper material that they use for NYC id's

i'd like to know the answer to this question as well...just recently moved into manhattan and was planning to hit this joint up tonite and prefer jeans and kicks if they allow'em...

For this night there will no dress code but I would advise buying your tickets in advance when they go on sale.

Trainers, sneakers, tennis shoes... how else can one expect to dance properly.

The 21+ is strictly enforced. Sorry!

It is 21+. It's incorrectly listed on the ticketing site, probably because Avalon Boston is 19+.

Yes I work there.
