Matt Hayden's a Legend!!

Forget the rugby world cup...
Hayden 380 runs!

i personally thought he was a legend waaayyy before this innings but this milestone just makes it official i guess.

i've said it once and i'll say it again, world cricket is a farce when australia are competing. they should not be allowed to use cricket bats, instead they should be made to use this:

yeh thats right, they should have to bat with a carrot. and when australia are batting with their carrots, the bowling team must bowl with this:

but to make it fair, it can only be a 8 pound children's bumper ball. and remember this is ONLY applicable when australia are batting. you know its fair.

You know its the truth, I'm Sam Kekovich.

well maybe zimbabwe won't give us a run for our money but maybe the indian tour will be more competitive

so much sport but so little time to watch

hopefully we can do something in the union. although it was a ok win over Argentina, we are still going to struggle against the likes of New Zealand and England. My Tip, All Blacks.

I never thaught Brian Lara's previous highest every score in an innings would be surpassed.

But I guess it has a lot to do with the opposition/pitch and what form the batsman is in.

Na, Hayden ain't a legend yet. Take a look at Lara's record, now there's a true legend.

Ya gotta remember though, this was against Zimbabwe

Posted by webmeister on Oct-11-2003 07:22:

Respect to the man. Yes it was against Zimbabwe, but it still required 10 hours of stamina, intense concentration and zero mistakes, which nobody else has ever managed to do in Test cricket.

Now bring on the RWC

If you dont consider Haydens a record cause it was scored against zimbabwe, then you cant count lara's either!! It was (from memory) scored against England!!! So Matt had a MUCH harder time!!!

Still, Bradman 'only' managed 334 in an era where no one dived in the field etc...

Respect to the man, a 380 is a top effort, no matter who it's against.

From what I remember the highest first class score was about 575, again by Brian Lara in English County Cricket. English County Cricket is shit though, all the best players in the comp are Aussies!

it was 501 for Warwickshire, and was another great innings as so many have been. The english county isn't all bad, we have players coming up like Bilal Shafayat who captains the under 19s, Ian Bell, Jim Troughton, Ed Smith, and many others as good as some of ur lads

Damn it i know there was a higher score!!! It was some indian dude, ive got it in a cricketing stats book back in Albury!! Next time i head down their ill find out what it is!!!

(This is gonna shit me to death, i just know it!!)
