Fifa 2004 demo will be released on this tuesday.

hope they wont do the same shit as with UT2k3, where it took quite some time before they even released the demo

Demo is out, and there is also demo expander that lets you change time, resolution and everything else.
Fifa 2004 in one word the BEST soccer game ever, it OWNZ PES and WE.

Here are some pics that I took in-game, I won the game 5-4 against Millan with 10min half-times on pro level.

S : pass/change player
D : shoot

what's the button to accelerate ? to do effects ? how to do the off the ball control ?

also how does the Xtender stuff works ? it doesn't work here ... does it have to be installed in the same folder as the demo ? do you have to launch then press ok and launch the game ?

Q = player runs
W = thruballs (for player runs)
E = sprint

As for extender you install it, run it .... set up what you want save and launch and thats it.

Is the demo any good? Im asking becouse im hoping that after all this time they might release a beter fifa then RTWC 98 which is still the best IMHO and the one that me and my friends play online

i don't have a great video card therefor i won'T comment on the graphics

the game play sucks imo , i'm too used to fifa on PS2 , the acceleration stuff is pissing me off if i use it then they take the ball from me WTF

Are you crazy ?? the game play is PERFECT, Fifa 2004 OWNZ PES and WE hands down.
I cant have enough of this game, its a blast, every second I learn some new moves, I love this game!
So many new moves just great, feels like real soccer game.
If you dont like the gameplay it just means you suck

I play with keyboard (Im used to it, used it since Fifa Soccer 94')for now, I might get PS2 controller.
I play this demo on pro, and I win some, lose some .... in short excellent & very intense games, I cant wait for the full game so I can start a career mode

About accel. there is only 1 button, and its "E"
Im right now trying to master "freestyle" and "off the ball" controls, this is by far the best Fifa ever, and no doubt in my mind its alot better the realistic then WE or PES.

Bullshit. The fifa games r, always have been and always will be absolute shite. Theyre just terrible. If u know a thing about football u know how bad they really r. The games play very unrealistically for a start and i like to play a game made by people who dont have to resort to the cpu player cheating (non stop) its way through the matches.
Fifa is, at best, an arcade game while pro evolution is a simulation for people who really love football. Someone from ea even admitted this in an interview (including the part about pro evolution being a sim).
Save ur money for pro evolution 3.

Big deal. When it comes to football, GAMEPLAY is what matters. If u only care about the names etc or u care about it more than excellent gameplay then ur..... i dont even know what the word is for u.
Anyway, most players do have their real names. And u can edit the 1s that dont, u can change the original team flags to the 'sample' realish ones (or edit them/make ur own), u can change the team names and what the commentators call them etc and end up with it being fairly realistic.
The commentary is basically shit, too repetitive, but again it doesnt matter because im playing the most realistic football game there is.

Plese please, your obvisouly clueless, yes the other Fifa's sucked, but Fifa 2004 is OWNAGE, it ownz any PES or WE series ever, thats not even a comparison.
Fifa 2004 was totally rewritten, and its amazing.
The gameplay, the graphics everything changed for good, and the game is as realistic as it gets.
Nothing comes comes to Fifa 2004 as far as stimulation goes, and thats a fact.
I think I know what the problem is, I think you just get your ass kicked all over so you get frustrated.
