Remixing Madonna - Power of goodbye

i have an acapella of this track.. i would like to create a trance remix but the acapella is like 90bpm... how can i solve this? Can i pitch it in Goldwave? or any other method? If i pitch it in Goldwave it sounds pretty high...

any help?

thx!!

going from 90 to 130-140 is quite a big gap.. you could try going to 70 bpm, half of 140. work out how many %% it is and use time stretch in sound forge.. hope it doesnt distort too much..

Another thing to try is chopping the vocal up and reconstructing it at the new BPM. You most likely won't be able to use all of it, but it may work out okay.

Depending on how you structure you instrumental, you could get away at keeping it at 90 bpm. quite a few songs have been rmxd like that. Take Sara McLaughlin's remixed album and take a listen. most her sons are in 80-100bpm range.

That is a good song, I had thought about remixing it before... when you do I'd definitely like to hear it.
