holy shit...just got back from this movie, and DAMN what a rush...Tarantino outdid himself with this one is all i gotta say...
this is one of the most original action/comedy flicks coupled with some of the best characters and fight scenes ive ever seen

hes got such a unique style of telling a story, and the whole Japan bit is nuts...those of you who watch it will understand

so yea, hell yea, me and my friends got blown away, and it got a hefty applause from the rowdy theatre, so i reccomend it to all you Tarantino fans or action buffs out there

I'm so psyched for this movie. It's been way too long for Tarantino, and in a rare occasion I'm actually going to see this movie tomorrow with some friends instead of our usual saturday night drinking binge. I can't wait!

to be honest i thought this film would not be as good because it has chicks init playing bad ppl, QT is great at gangster movies and i love R'Dogs , i might have to watch this now.

You basically can't go wrong qith QT movies. Of course most are IMO way too overyped, but even with those emovies that you only find allegedely deep and meaningful, youll still have 2 hrs of fun n entertainment.

its mint, beautifully directed with a lot of original ideas and stuff.. the blood is completely over the top but that makes it cool, as its a blatent pisstake.. i love the cartoon/kung-fu movie amalgamation thing he has goin

ppl say its his best film yet, but i think thats a very bold statement, IMO pulp fiction was better

Just seen it this evening. I have never seen soo much blood!! First half was a bit slow but that japanese fight scene made matrix's agent smith fight look lame in comparison. The anime stuff was cool too.

grabbin it. I've always heard about the "awesome"ness of Tarantino, but for some reason i'm just not in his groove. But i've heard almost universal praise for this movie, so i'm gonna check it out

Close to a year later: I see it and am glad I avoided this hype. Not what I expected. And as far as originality goes, there was none. Mediocre movie.

Thats too bad. If you waited a year it must have not been that attractive in the first place, and watching it on DVD is just, eh.

Nonetheless, I completely disagree with your views. Then again, I disagree with mosts peoples tastes in movies.

worst critique of a movie, ever. why not have a little substance in a post that trashes a movie that has been hailed as one of the better flicks of all time.

unfortunatly, listening to Uma Thurman and Lucy Liu, attempt to speak Japanese as if they speak it fluently killed it for me, still a good movie though 2nd one was much better. I could barely make out what they were trying to say ...if they didn't speak japanese would have been much more credible.
