Hey all...TA in training here...just curious...hehe

What would you call a good lightshow? any preferences? glowsticks vs. lights...any funny stories? any comment is a good comment...lol

p.s. y'all really know how to PARTY!!!

Lights are amazing i think! But i've seen a lot of people that were amazing with glowsticks too
Best light show i've had was with lights at LoL... The guy had to tap me on the shoulder and blow in my face when he was done hehe i think my eyes were still moving like mad when i got up!

Light shows can be fun, if the dancer knows what he/she is doing - and if the person they are giving a light show to has actually requested one. Too often i see dancers forcing people to watch their shows by thrusting the light in their direction (probably the reason why so many ppl get pissed off with light dancers)

Ultimately though i think the lights and the people who seem to love them so much are a part of clubbing, and watching a good light show, or even catching someone bust a move with lights only adds to the experience of a good night out.

glowsticks own.. :P they are soo stimulating.. trance and glowsticks go hand in hand lol

i personally like glowticks some peeps can get annyoing with tehm when they are constantly in yhour face but other than that.. i enjoy a light show once in a while.. its nice and trippy esp when im on drugs.. and giving lightshows goes the same

i'm a former raver myself, and to this day cant help but showing someone how it's done, whether it be stciks, lights, balls, whatever. and it helps knowing most of the tracks being sun too - that way you can really watch someone enjoy a good show if you go with the beat and shit.

i never buy glowsticks or toys,, but love using em whenever i can

i gotta say that those lights...don't matter which type can make or break a night for me. Good music with no good shows are a total disappointment to me! generally the good peeps stick together but when it doesn't happen. Dancing is the only saving grace after that.

so far i have been lucky...i was saved from a bad show a few times too...some guy thinks he is good...then after he is finished someone appears from out of the darkness and asks to use em to show him how its really done...jokez!

it's all luv tho so its all good!

hate em. but i will deal. its the attitude that some of these "performers" have. crazy lights thrust in my face when i am dancing is not cool. anyone feelin like showin off their "skills" should damn well ask first. and its not just glowsticks, its these whistle ppl too. fuck, u can't even look away. some ppl don't realize how much ppl hate the constant shrill in their ear. so if u are around ppl and u wanna blow that stupid thing, ask ppl if they mind, and if they do, put it in yer pocket and scream like everyone else.

sorry for the swearing but some ppl at pvd were goin nuts on them and when i asked them to stop, they got beligerent. grrr
