I dont think people would mind you posting here, but if you are into house, there is also www.houseaddict.com a rather new place dedicated to housemusic; tranceaddict still discusses other genres besides trance too.

We need some more Phily heads here. You should check out the New York Region Forum. Lots of PA, NJ heads there. And we occasioanlly talk about parties in the area, when we're not "OMG PVD!" "I *heart* PVD" "PVD is GOD!"

Stay, give us some input on House, since we are numb to other genres.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Well, I'm really a deephouse head, but have been getting into hard discohouse as of late (Chareles Feelgood, Dj Dan, Bad Boy Bill, Kid Creme styles) mainly because I've been spinning more peak hour slots that demand a higher energy. I'm really enjoying it, and so is the crowd surprisingly enough. I've had a couple good trance expereinces...Tiesto being one of them and then a couple years ago here in Philly a local dj named Donato got to one-off at Tribecca while all the residents were down at WMC. He was AMAZING that night!! But for the most part Deep Soulful House is what makes house such great fun for me. I think I feel more comfortable in smaller rooms, and am able to experience intimacy with music better for me. The hard discohouse though is really charging me up lately so maybe I'm on a new path or growing musically.
