Idea ____________________Buying CD's

you wouldnt believe it but im sick of downloading songs.

I'm just gonna buy CDs 'n' all that, like you guys, hehe.

I decided its not too bad of an idea after all.

I'm just about to buy "Airdrawndagger" because i had previously been downloading tracks from the album and i'd have to say Sasha is pretty damn good...

what other albums are must-haves?

P.S

How about a link to a site that lets you listen to low quality samples of tracks to decide whether you like the artist or not?

Posted by meneedit on Oct-13-2003 02:43:

....Forgot to mention what I like/dislike.

I'm not really into hardcore trance.
I'm not into cheese

I'm sorta into uplifting... sorta!)
I'm into depressing tunes
I'm into summer tunes

Examples:
-----------
Carl Cox
DJ Quicksilver
chicane
ATB

Because many are aliases of a bigger artist. Many 12" releases get released in single CD form. Electronic music isn't setup like popular stuff, where an artist goes under one name and does 3/4 of the CD with 'filler' tracks (I don't listen to this stuff, so i wouldn't know).

Also, many DJ's spin on vinyl, so if they are released only on vinyl, then chances are they got most of the DJ's covered.

I could be wrong, and maybe someone who knows a bit more about this than i do can correct/add to what i've said.

I guess I am being too picky, but I've seen similar threads so many times, that in fact I wont bother listing any of my suggestions, cause I am too dam bored and lazy of it .... just did a thread yesterday about must have CDs ....

it's going to be re-released soon as a double cd.. the 2nd cd will feature some unreleased tunes, so i suggest you wait untill the new version of the album is out!

Its sweet how every cd i buy ends up getting scratched up somehow, no matter how careful I am. Gotta love those scratches you can't see too.
