Logic Platinum and Logic Audio 6

I'm on Ebay, and I see the Emagic Logic Audio Big Box 6 for sale at 239 US dollars! I'm like "Whoa, this usually sells for 700 bucks!" That's when I figured out the 700 dollar one was Logic PLATINUM...

So, now my question is... what is the difference between purchasing Logic 6 Platinum at 700 dollars, which is ONE Program, from purchasing the Big Box which has Logic Audio 6 plus a crapload of extra music production programs?

It would make sense for the Big Box to be much more expensive right? So what extra features are on the PLATINUM version that warrant a cost of 400 extra dollars???

BTW Emagic is launching an education pack of Logic. I think for $80 or something you can get v5.5 of Platinum (Mac or PC) if you're a student. It may not be the latest version of the Mac Logic, but for that price, you get a killer app that has proven it's value over the last couple of years.

Hey thanks for the info guys... I went to the emagic page and those charts looks like chinese to me Thanks though, but as far as trance goes, anyone have any idea whether it's better to buy the Big Box or the Platinum Version? I have no idea which I should pick up and start learning. Also, Dj Thy, do you know where I would be able to purchase that 5.5 version for students? Thanks man!
