OPPS!
I meant 4k in israel money...lol
1K $ is 4400 Israel Shakels
So I got about 1K USD ... so is that good stuff?
I personally don't like the Pioneer CDJ100's... I had to use them last Saturday night again and was not impressed w/ their ability at all...If you're looking for something in that price range...get the Numark Axis 8's. They are about $30.00 more than the Pioneer and you'll get a hell of alot more ability out of them... Namely looping, hot starts and effects.. All the pioneer has is 3 crappy effects.
You can get a whole set up from Numark with 2 axis 8's a Matrix3 mixer and case for about $1200.00 U.S. If you're in that price range, that is what I would suggest.. My friend has this setup and it works really well..

Not trying to start a fight or anything... just stating a preference... When you're buying the cdj100's you paying for that name on the side of the cd player... With the Numark you're paying for the extra abilities of the player...I sometimes even like my friends Numarks just as much as my Denon's S5000...
You really should try out both players to see what you like better...and then choose...
i have two axis 9's...excellent players. go with the numarks. you wont lose anything and you'll gain a lot more.

yes, i believe that the numarks are better than the pioneers. I actually tested the axis 8's, cdj-100's and axis 9's. i liked the 9's the best, that's why i bought them, but if you dont have that much money definitely go for the 8's.
i dont really like cdj-100's but then again iv heard some bad things about the 8's though 9's nothing but good. anyways i use the american audio psx's which are about the same price and alot better you should look into those as well
Well I think I'm gonna go on the CDJ 100 at the end because in here at the club that what u find and if I'll buy the axis I won't control well CDJ 100 so I should get pioneer.
Anyway the ones who tryed both axis 8 or cdj 100 can you tell me if you control it the same? cuz if so I could get axis
They pretty much control the same way... You might get a little more lag on the Pioneer when you push play, but not much a difference otherwise..
I use Denon S5000s @ home and you miss all the fancy stuff when you play on CDJ100's but it's all the same concept. Don't just get the Pioneer because that's what the club has. You'll still be able to spin on the 100's if you get the Axis 8's

I personally like top-loading CD players. Forget the vinyl-wheel, 'cuz it's not like you're going to be scratching. If it's all about the mix, why not get something else like the Stanton Top loader? Cost is probably $150.
I've worked with the Numark-CD-88 (not a top-loader) and thought it was an excellent machine for a beginning DJ. It has all the stuff a CD-DJ could want (in my opinion).
I'm gonna start working now to get some money
maybe if I'll have enough I'll get the axis 9 insted of 8

hi, i'm the one who posted this topic earlier, now i got 3 cdj 100 and a DJM 300 also a DJM 600 (gonna get a Tascam X9 or Xone 62 instead) ... i could say i love these babies, but i'm gonna sell the DJM 300 and 1 CDJ 100, and i suggest u buy the Axis 9... since u r not a newbie like me. Axis 9 is not expensive at all and but more futures and better sound quality (YES! its BETTER SOUND QUALITY! i tried 2 axis 9 yesterday and its awesome).. but anywayz... i'm newbie so i don't need much futures and i want a cd deck which allow me to play couple years w/o problems...
Axis 8 = 540 $ for a pair
Axis 9 = 800 $ for a pair...
GET THE 9's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nope,
Axis 8 = 580 pair
Axis 9 = 630 pair
check ebay! its just $314 buy it now
