Me, Akko, and Brian on behalf of TFST-NYC wanna thank all of you that came out on saturday and supported our first party at a new location/venue.. the vibe/atmosphere was fantastic, and it turned out to be a great party.. also would like to let you guys know we secured a monthly slot @ lickwed, and will be providing quality music & and production every month.. lookout for some special guest djs in the near future and also will be working on the visuals and extra lighting for our future events.. let me know how you guys felt about the venue and everything else.. the only thing i found that needs work is that the sound system needs a tweaking.. that will def. be taken care of for Nov.. well as always, it was awesome seeing the TAs there you guys really 'make the party' BIG BIG shout out to : Alex, Brianna, John, Michelle, Jay, Rick, Jonathan, Taso, and Adam.. you guys rocked hard.. once again, thanx for the support everyone and stay fucking tuned for Nov..

That's really sweet of you, Tae but WE are the ones who sould be thanking YOU!! I had a great time and you played a great set. Thank God I went with Alex or I would have been going nuts trainspotting. Well, trying to.

As for the venue, it was cool.

PROS:
I like that you can just walk outside and smoke or go upstairs. Security and staff were really nice. Bathrooms clean (altho they didn't lock ). There were lots of places to sit and I liked the atmosphere. Kind of basement rave / houseparty thing. I liked that it was downstairs away from all that hip hop insanity. HOW DID I EVER LISTEN TO THAT?!?!

CONS:
Sound wasn't too good, bothered my ears a bit, but I still have my hearing.
Drinks are DAMN expensive and they don't give you shit. I couldn't afford to get a buzz.

All in all, I am glad I went and had a good time. Thanks to Alex for driving me there and ALSO for driving me & the crew back to Astoria. Happy early birthday again, Brian. Nice to see everyone!

I'd like to thank everyone who came to support our party. Tek mentioned alot of great points and I'll try to not repeat them, but I was glad to see everyone come out and enjoy themselves. We are aware that the drinks are a bit pricey so there are some issues that we will try to tackle. Our biggest concern is that the FEEDBACK from you people. We want to hear what you think needs improvement and we will try with all our power to resolve those issues. As of right now the only main concerns are - sound and drink prices. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The lighting needs to be fixed downstairs. Some additions that we need to do and we promise you will see results in our next party. And a big shoutout to TA for representing, lets make this nyc trance scene something for everyone....
