Thumbs up Tiesto = Mobile Home Syd NYE

Just saw the mobile home site advertising tiesto playing at wharf 3 on Nye. So again he must be playing Sydney then flying to Melbourne ala Digweed a couple of years ago. Tickets $138 from ticketek.

Be interested to know which party he is playing when. Digweed didn't make it till 4 or thereabouts to Melbourne but at least played till 8.

tiesto + NYE + fireworks = big kev excited!

(shame about the rest of the mobilehome lineup)

$138 for NYE..... FUCK THAT!

Perth will see Tiesto; Tiga; Mark Farina; Kaskade; Ed Rush and Rymetime and DJ Zinc on NYD for $55.... Crazy to pay $140 for that.

For $140 i would want to see Tiesto, AVB, PVD, Corsten and Blank and Jones, all playing 3 hours each

yes i would want to see those for that price. man imagine that 3 hours each.

yea the rest of the line up is a bit lacking,

as for the ticket price mobile home tickets have always been $110 +
with out tiesto playing (im sure his fee for an NYE set is quite high)

Depending on what the rest of the crew is doing, I might in Melbourne for NYE.

Posted by tubby on Oct-14-2003 04:14:

the line-up is all over the place, so i'll like one dj that my friends hate, then i'll sitting out the rest of the night cos the styles totally changed. Is this the same wharf as last year, the one that felt like flemmington markets without the stalls?
tiesto will probably finish by 1am, take out the crowd for 20 minutes for fireworks like happened last year, that's not a lot to attract a trance bunny for $150. melbourne looks more and more likely.

Yup :/

I'm also thinking Melbourne, dependent on set times of course

Yeah thats what i'm thinking.

$138.....hmmmm...thats a shitload! Honestly for that kind of money i would expect at least 3 good internationals.

There ya go

Glad i dont live in sydney.

Still prefer to see it in perth. Better weather and if its the same venue as last year, will whoop all over sydney and melbourne Last years was at Mounts Bay sailing club. On the fore shore, day nite rave, nice warm summers day, wicked view of the city and kings park and tiesto cranking out some awesome choonz...... What more could you ask for!

so ture

I agree, $138 is a bit too much to pay - Digweed NYE was about the same cost too I believe?

Posted by tubby on Oct-15-2003 02:03:

digweed was about the 120 mark, but at least for that jason bye played a nice long set to follow up, was in a decent club with a decent clubbing crowd. Bye's set at MH last year was total cheese. Not sure how I got on the MH mailing list, but I got mail a couple of days ago offering ealy tickets for $110+bf. Still expenseive, but I don't see much else out there this year.

Grrr I wish Future were bringing Tiesto over to Perth for Summadaze instead of Sunshine People. Then I wouldn't be torn between the two (Mellen have pretty much confirmed some good trance acts that they haven't announced yet so that's why I'm interested)!
