Behold, my arse. RIAA Screws Up Again

http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/6/33391.html

First they start suing people who share music (in which they might even own the albums the MP3's are from) and now they can't even find the right people.

I can't wait until they go down in flames

as much as I love seeing the RIAA fuck up it is illegal to share music, it doesn't matter if you have the original album or not. having the original cd means that you can legally encode the cd to mp3 for your own use, but not share it.

Yeah, a couple of weeks ago they sued this 60 year old sculptor who they claim had a thousand or so rap songs :P Funny thing is she has a mac, and Kazaa is only for Windows-based computers

ah shaddup..... mp3's are good for the industry, if they had only embraced the technology instead of trying to kill it off they'd be doing much better now. And people wouldn't hate their guts.

The methods they use are wrong indeed but that doesn't change the fact that it IS illegal to share music without permission.

There is no excuse in the world to make it legal so there's no point in bitching either.

Yes it is illegal but we're all trance lovers here and most trance artist support MP3's because it's good for business. It get's people into the music and most trance artists don't have a problem with it. I do agree though that it's illegal and if you really appreciate an artists music that you will but their CD/Vinyl.
