Stu Hart Passes away :(

quote:
The legendary Stu Hart passed away today at the age of 88. He had been hospitalized in Calgary due to complications of pneumonia, an elbow infection, and a swollen stomach.

Stu Hart was the father of Bret Hart and the late Owen Hart and responsible for training a number of top wrestling stars as well as promoting one of the more famous Canadian wrestling territories, Stampede Wrestling.

His life had been told in the biography Stu Hart: Lord of the Ring by Martha Erb, published in March 2002.

Sad news, the man did so much for wrestling, and even those who don't like it, this man trained al ot of ppl, and was the father of bret hart, the late owen hart, and did so much for the business, and it's sad to see him go just 12 short of a century, tho he's done well to get this far imo, RIP

I think we should just ban everyone who registered since September. Seems like they're all trolls who hang out in this forum.

I think there should be specific forums for people who have been here 2+ yrs so they can have threads without all this stupid nonsense. And if it's full of nonsense, at least it's people you know are taking the piss or just having a laugh.

And you could extend the 2+ year thing to people who made positive contributions to the site or were well liked.

Anyone?

i don't know how that would work because im still a n00b and people could argue whether i was liked or not...

Owies. Oh well, didn't mean it in a disrespectful way... erm.. guess it came out a bit wrong. Anyway, I'm sorry I'm American, I know as a 16 year old I should've moved to a differant country long ago . Also, sorry I only recently discovered trance (used to listen to other electronic genres), and sorry I only recently found TA. I really don't want to turn this into a stupid flame war, but at least try not to be hypocritical.

Oh, and if it means anything, sorry that I made the comment. Looking back, it was rather rude of me. My apologies, seriously.

kinda was expecting it sometime or other. besides, he lived to a healthy 88 years old. Kinda beats the odds doesnt it? He's been through a lot of wrestling. Didnt he live in calgary?

STU HART DEVELOPS PNEUMONIA WHILE HOSPITALIZED

by Mike Johnson Updated: 10/16/2003 6:50:17 AM

Legendary wrestler and trainer Stu Hart will remain in Calgary, Albert Canada's Rockyview Hospital after developing pneumonia, according to The Calgary Sun.

"He's almost 89 years old and we have to take this day by day," said Bret Hart's spokesperson to the Sun. "He's stable and in good spirits."

The Hart famiy patriarch had been expected to be hospitalized for one week while being treated for an elbow infection stemming from a fall from home and a swollen stomach believed to have been caused by a instestinal infection.

Hart, the father of Bret and the late Owen Hart, had a hand with training a number of top wrestling stars as well as promoting one of the more famous Canadian wrestling territories, Stampede Wrestling.

i was back in the days when bret hart was still around

but it's always sad to see a passing, especially someone who contributed so much to society

Posted by Omegasox on Oct-17-2003 14:07:

I used to love wrestling when the Junkyard Dog, King Kong Bundy, Jimmy SuperFly Snooka, Iron Sheik, etc. were around. Now it's worse than a soap opera.

He died at the Over the Edge PPV in May 1999, during an entrance where he was coming down from the roof on a rope. The harness he was being held up by snapped and he fell down to ring and died.
