Gender selection box in member profiles

Well, looks like this is the right place to post this. How about putting a Gender Selection box in the member profiles? People think I'm a girl because of my name (The Jessica Alba TV show Dark Angel) when in reality, I'm a guy. I've used this name since '96, and don't plan on changing it anytime soon. I can understand people mistaking me becuz of the name, but life would be a lot easier for me and anyone else with unisex names if there were a gender box in the member profiles. Hope you take it into consideration, people. Thx!

I'm abandoning all hope on my idea. (Gender selection box in member profiles.) Got a response back from...uhh one of the TA higher-ups saying that the girls would be singled out, and now that I think about it, they're right. It would cause absoloute chaos in TA....well, more chaos then usual, I would presume. It'd be a get-the-girl-free-for-all, and pandemonium would run rampant...funny thing is, I was sober when I made the suggestion, but I guess I wasn't thinking...ah well, shit happens. I'll say THIS though: I AM A GUY. I have had the name DarkAngel since 1996, way WAY before the tv show Dark Angel with Jessica Alba. Yea, she's a hottie, but I am not. I am a dude! I'm OK looking tho....hehehe.

If it bothers you that much, put a 'i'm a bloke' in your sig, or get swamper to change your username

No way in hell I'm changin my user name. I'm rather comfortable with it. It suits me. I'll just deal with the shit as it comes along.

people have to view in your profile to see it, and i dont go to a profile much, so they dont see it 2
