The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Who saw it?
I thought it was a great remake. I can't really compare it to the original because I never saw it. The police officer was funny as hell! Anyway, the story is pretty fucking crazy...I'm going to do some internet research to find out how it really went down.
How about that preview for "Dawn of the Dead" too.
what is this?

Ive only saw the original (but not for years, i was maybe 13), not the remake.
That was true????
whooah, i never knew there was a remake, the original version was Banned in the UK until a few years ago tho, and i went to see it when it came out - i thought it was great, if not a little badly acted
who is in the new version? and whats this about Dawn of the Dead, don;t tell me thats been remade too
I saw the original a few months ago on TV. That bit where the killer picks the girl up and impaled her neck on a meathook really shocked me though
I have never been properly scared by any movie, but that bit where the girl is screaming when she knows she's about to be impaled really freaked me out. I dunno why but it just seemed so real.
I'd love have the chance to see the whole film again tho.
...maybye I'm just a wuss

scariest movie i have ever seen

i was told that it was based on a true story, but after a few minutes of seeking, it is a VERY LOOSE interpretation of the true story. no cannibals, no chainsaws, just a very loose translation and interpretation.

i thought its gonna come out next week
i saw the original long time ago...very goood movie
but the remake is incredible
it gave me goosebumps and was insanely frightening..
michael bay.....the producer from bad boys...and pearl harbor..did an excellent job.
his long shots set the stage for intense moments...absolutely gruesome and wicked can describe this movie. Same story but with slight alterations to the plot...
the ring, signs, all the recent horror movies are like bugs bunny cartoons compared to this nightmare..
just got back from seeing it...HOLY FUCKING SHIT...this has got to be the FREAKIEST, SCARIEST movie i have ever seen and most likely will ever see...and the whole time u're watching it u're reminded of the fact that its based on a true story, and real ppl. went thru that sheer terror...fucking insane...this was the only movie that really really got to me, i was almost abt to walk out, a number of ppl. actually did (i stayed, however)...extremely graphic, really, really intense and most definitely not for the faint of heart
im gonna research the real story as well
PS: just found out that there really was NO such family in texas, that there was only ONE such guy and he never did use a chainsaw, and even then the story is in fact just LOOSELY based on a true story...fuck now im pissed off at those guys for making me feel this way...http://www.snopes.com/movies/films/chainsaw.asp
PPS: jessica biel has a reaaaallly fine body
yea it was based off Ed Gein so the actual story wasnt true, just the crazy guy who mutilated ppl was
ive not seen this yet, but im really happy to see horror movies making a comeback, although theyll never be as good as what they used to be in the early 90's and mid 80's.
for those who we're happy with the idea of freddy vs jason... apparently new line are gonna take it that one step further...... taking another of horror movies cult heroes 'Ash' from the amazing horror flick 'Evil Dead' so 'Freddy vs Jason vs Ash' i cant really see that weerking, but damn thatll be a funny film, especially if bruce campbell is gonna be part of the production like he was in evil dead , which is comedy genius
it wasnt so much scary as it was disturbing.
fuckin sick people
The movie is not based on a true story. It is distantly based on the crimes of a cannibal serial killer from way back when.
The original is the greatest horror movie ever created.
do they have an invalid in the new one?
