Songs with Strings

Anyone have suggestions for song w/ strings in it? Like "FInished Symphony" has strings and stuff...

Reason is, my friend plays the violin and I want to ask to see if he can play these songs on the violin....

Yeah Skip Raiders and William Orbit both used Barber's Adagio for Strings, the theme to Platoon.

I'll add Maurice - Feline, some wierd Eastern European fiddling in that one.

lol...there are some tracks people have posted in here that DO NOT have strings in them at all!

Just becuase a track has the word "String" in it, it doesn't mean it has orchestral elements in it! i.e Superstring and Stringer!...lame!

if you have a violin you can EASILy play finished symphony, and maurice - feline
and they'll sound great

Actually, the skip raiders tune didn't, maybe your thinking the mix oakenfold did of those two tracks...

The song with the powerful strings you might be thinking is not the trance mix...it was done by brainbug.

Skip Raiders-Another Day (sinister strings mix)

Alot of brainbug tunes have strings:
-Brainbug- Benedictus
-Brainbug- the dwarf

So does most of hybrid's other stuff like:
-Snyper
-rmx of Glorious
-more I can't think of right now...
